What's the matter with you James....got a Hoarse throat or something?

Why not tell the members what it tasted like in the thread that I started? I for one honestly wouldn't know what it tastes like.

The trouble these days is people dont take any notive of the instructions and conteants on the labels.-90% of bacon is fed on fish-meal as is pork.

At which end of the 'Bacon' or 'Pork' is the mouth James?

Looking at your spelling mate I think you need to take more water with it, or early to bed for you tonight! lol

Stepping away from the meat debate for a moment, I would just like to add that I've just booked a short break away to Ambleside in April for a few days (I can feel Dave getting envious), all done through POE, and I've got a fantastic deal on a hotel Laughing Laughing

Maybe a bit of the Grouse showing up in Jame's spelling.

I can be forgiven any mistakes right now, as I am definitely getting Chemo brain (where the chemo drugs stop the synapsis firing)

Yesterday I answered the phone, my friend Harold said 'Hello Sue' to which I answered "Hello Sue".

Anyway, I'm having a good day. I do so like these good days, though I tend to eat too much on the unhealthy side. I usually lose about four pounds during my bad days but easily gain it back on the good ones.

The sun is shining, even though its still below freezing. I can't go out for very long, as the cold makes my skin hurt and my eyes spasm. But I will still enjoy the beauty of the blue skies and sun.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

Whats on the menu? I love hearing all about your Sunday dinners.

Today I will be roasting a chicken and having it with creamy mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. Yum!

I haven't thought about tomarrow"s meal as of yet...though I could stand to go to the store I suppose. I'm still trying to clean out the freezer to defrost it. I think I'm down to one ham and a package of frozen chicken though. I just had Pizza hut with an thin crispy crust to mushrooms,  onion, and green pepper toppings. Most of this week was comfort food trying to get use the meat I had out there....stew, baked beans and hamburger with cheese topping, tacos etc. I'm tryin to get away from eating as much meat as I did in the past because of it's calories. Having my teeth pulled out hasn't really stopped my eating and it didn't my sister's either, even with not using her dentures....you just eat differently in the way it's prepared for the most part.  Smaller tender moist pieces of meat instead of an huge chop or an glob of steak. Terriyaki beef "Stir Fry" is good or as in Enchiladas. I don' teat to many what you'd call "specialty" meats..they simply don't sell it here or it's to expensive to buy for the most part. Tom Brown suggests raising pigeons in the city for "emergency food" situation for the people...and he tells you how to lure them in to catch them... living in an high rise apartment also from out the window....should things get to that need. They had 3 feet of snow yesterday in New England by the way. They are digging out from under that one. Most of them said they were more worried about the lack of having power out then what they were going to eat.  Many of them consider one snowstorm an winter about normal for the season also. I spent all day "writing" again. This time I read most the day about the people and the details on the "London Company" that sponsored Jamestown in it's founding days. Which went onto Henrico Co., Va.... and had my mind on Marjorie Pope.So I've landed over here finally in this article...at least one foot anyway.....Hope your all doing well.
