I again stayed up until 3 am last night...studying England's "Redstone" castles and artifacts. Then I found suppsedly the "receipe" for the Philospher's Stone...and the white powder made from it that was said to be for "immorailty"... and when used with iron ore made into "Gold Igots" Twas interesting....I always get into the "side lines" when doing this writing. Because where this goes...mankind went also.

I was surprised at the resignation of the Pope today at the end of the month and yet, it's nice to see he doesn't have to "die" to relax an bit in his church duties. Now they have to consider another "Pope"..Only one has the name of "Peter" to him so far.

I need to go grocery shopping and it's raining out..so I'm going to have to force myself into it perhaps. Have an good day everyone!

Thanks for info Ruth.

Shirley, what you get through in a day I think there must be two of you.

Cathy, as regards your storms, it may be time to put that thinking cap on again about returning to the UK

I'm here Smile

I've decided (been getting around to it for 9 years) that I am going to write up onto my computer a journal of a 9 ½ week world tour we took in 2004. All the details at the moment are scribbled in 2 tatty notebooks that we carried around with us from place to place. Luckily the photos are digital and are on my external hard drive, so sorting them out is less daunting than taking on the books. I've found a site called Wordpress, so I'm going to give that a go, that way I can do a bit at a time.

Hope it's not another 9 years before it's completed Wink
