David is in Whitby fishing and he's been ringing all day fretting about what might need doing and how much it was all going to cost. Must admit I was a bit naughty I'd had the car home for 2 hours before I rang to put him out of his misery. |

rustyruth Posts: 18773 Joined: 23rd Oct 2012 Location: England | Posted at 18:30 on 18th February 2013 James it was like the War of the Roses all over again in our house when I was young, my Mum is Lancastrian, my Dad a Yorkshireman, I was born in Yorkshire, every mistake I made, everything I did wrong my Mum laid the blame on the fact that I was born in the wrong county - in fact thinking about it she still does The fish & chips in Whitby are still amongst the best in the country though. |
