Do I ever have information on the War of Roses...including and dream even. Several of my hubby's side...as Planegents are getting kickec out of thier houses...and they left remarks aboout it...and then we have another by the name of Catherine Howard...losing his wife altogther and getting banish out of the country...OK..booted...though I don't see his wife coming over with him. they left enough information though that I can link them to over here.  The dream concerns the Rev. Benjamin Lakins....he was about to hand over his newly found "Methodist" curcuit to Rev. Jerimiah Lawson and he pondered as if he was doing the right thing. But he writes that he put the issue into God's hands...when an small red cardinal came flying in and landed near him (crest of the Lawson's)...that night hehad an disturbing dream of being swamped by people trying to escape in an hurry and he was in the mists of them trying to keep from getting trampled. (English Civil War most likely)...anyway he wakes up lateron an feels he's been shown that things will be better...and I feel this was God initiating for two in the brotherhood not to argue over the service they provide to him...they probably are of the same family. He tells this story more humbly then I do as to how he searched to God for an answer. They lived in the frontier region  of Kentucky at the time, when there were no churches built..and the preacher coming to the houses is what made Methodism popularin it's day...as well as with the Native Americans..whose "warriors" lived on the road more then off also.

Peggy...I am doing my best to get everyone into an tea cup of their own so we can have an afternoon tea sometime. Perhaps when the weather is an litltle better. They yanked out all the bushes at the city park and our sister city in Japan is going to help them re-do it in an Japanese garden theme here pretty soon.  I adore Portland's Japanese Garden...it is so peaceful and you can walk over an small boardwalk amoung the pond waterway and see all the bright orange Koi fish..as the banks bloom with purple irises and moss...and Japanese red maples and pink cherry trees. They have an tea house there also...most the time it's filled with Bonsai plants though. At one time I had an book of  Japanese wrapping paper in the prints of the kimono's of the various dynasties...I always thought would been interesting if tiled into an wall..with an plaque telling their history. Not to far away is the Portland Rose Gardens also. So if you go to one..you can usually go to the other...it has an interesing feature also...an water fountain...it had three spires sitting in the center of an cross of water..the three spires issue water sloftly down thei side of the spires...kind of an Father, son and Holy Ghost..buton an hot summer day..it's refreshing to put your hand on the spiresand feel the cool water...as you stand on an small walkway in the middle of the cross of water.  It's claim to fame, besides the rosses though is the view over Portland toward Mt. Hood to the west and Mt. St. Helens to the north...an all the city and foothills.  It would be nice to have lunch with you someday perhaps.

Ron our gasoline prices this month went up to about half the worth of an dollar bill per gallon..so it will ground us more this year to go very far....bad, bad, bad  I say..let them continue to put themselves out of business.

Hello Richard!....lady Rustyruth. Hope the car problems are no more, I was reading in Reddit.com last night an manufacturer of an Tesla car was asking for suggestions on making his car better..and was getting them...Tesla's are all electric cars...very expensive...and they say you can't tell them from an high class sports car in operation. Police (FBI) here just recently confiscated one..in an drug raid...who else can afford them... but the drug lords.

Fish an chips...sounds good. I havent' as yet tasted McDonalds "fish bites" but will have to try them out by golly!...for now had better getback to trying to wrap up this year's writing. Have an good day..and if Ron can get the link over here in earthboppin I tried to post it has plenty about an man coming from England in it...and the ancient land of Lemuria..he calls "Mu".

Yes Peggy, we've been watching the Penguins too, some amazing footage caught on those cameras. Apparently there were quite a lot of the 'Egg Cams" made as they got carriered off by birds and dropped in the sea. There was a clip shown that was filmed by a seabird carrying the camera over the whole colony of penguins below, I can't remember whether they got the camera back or it also ended up in the sea.

There should be lots more of these programmes on  TV instead of all the rubbush that is being broadcast these days.

I couldn't agree more James. We enjoyed Africa as well, shame it was only 3 episodes.
