Father in The Walton's Ralph Waite has passed, aged 85.

The program seems a bit sappy now, but it's still on the telly over here.

I liked Grandpa best.

Maria Von Trapp  the last member of the Von Trapp family, has passed away aged 99.

I dount there is one of us here that has not seen The Sound of Music at least once. Even my boys, in their early 20's, love to watch it on DVD.

That's a good age. I think I must be in a small minority then because I've never seen The Sound of Music. I'm not and never have been a fan of musicals.

Edited to add, that will be me and James then Smile
