Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 00:16 on 2nd May 2013 yeah...charles mentioned snow back in the mid-west where he's at today also....unusual. I was reading mahayla's astrology report as I like how she writes it...she mentioned Cliff High's report of something going to happen on the west coast before the merry month of May is gone supposedly....let's see...that make four doomsday predictions...most of them by some pretty in the know type people. I ran into an gal I've know for an time now..whose name is also Shirley..at one time I was supposed to go to work with her until the Grand Jury Trial business came up. She's semi-retired, but still works at the store..she worked there when my daughter in-law worked there also. She always asked me how I am doing, and me her....I told her...I'm settling into my medicare when my birthday comes up next month...she asked when...and I said, so much as changed..hope I make it all through it...she looked me seriously in the eye and said...I'm 77..don't worry about it...see, I'm still working. She has though since the last year or so given up her supervior's position for the part work. She can't believe my grand-daughter is taller then I am...she knew knew her when she was but an few days old. Well, this morning saw me working on my back patio...hot summer nights means "off the bedroom" chicken terayki kabobbs for me... with stars out...celing fan turning....and something icey cold to drink...while I look at the evening stars....dinner is salad. I think itmay be Mahayla is correct about last month...she says that of us have found that those whom are attached to us...aren't so much any more as of the end of this last week. I've found that to be true in at least two cases since the weekend on ward.. around my house. That's why I said...see, you didn't miss me. I didn't miss the work, but it's going on just the same anyway...and never any getting paid for it.As Roger Dangerfield use to say...."no repect!"...just don't ever getan respect....maybe it's time to turn to lemonaide? I best get going to for now..can't beleive its so late in the day already....later. Rick, give up and mail yourself to Ron... and get out of the snow!!!You've done worn your snow boots out for this year and your shovel looks more like an toothpick. |
