Good evening James...finally cooling down an bit. I guess you know this was an weekend of BBQ's and sun tans. We did "River check" earlier today and already some of those ladies were an nice rosey pink..me thinks if they didn't take cover they probably went home looking like an boiled lobster. They are redoing the local marina also, new bathrppms, landscaped, etc,..should be really nice here in an month or two..We just put on our new boat tags for this year...when we decided to check out the water level at the Rivers locally. Should start cooling down again in an day or into the 70's again. I finally got those 120 onions planted today also. If they all grow, as they should, it's going to be onion year around my house.  That's OK,... plenty of people to share them with. Well, thhink I'll go an "Sinko-de-Mya" my body into an bath for tonight....let things go for another year. It's been 48 hours of Salsa people..LOL..

Hi Rick, hope your snow has disappeared!  Also hope that the heat-wave promised for England materialised and you are all warm and sunny today!

Stiff neck this morning while our light rail has an power outtage so this city of one million people are using buses again until it's fixed.Take an look at the current weather pattern....twice in the last week the "storm front" instead of approaching horizonally off the coast is coming up from the south of California horizonally east to west with an line front crossing southern Oregon with thunderstorms It did something simiar last week...with an line of showers that stopped along the Columbia River...north was showers..south  was sunny,,,but it also brought these wild winds when it left the area. Not normal at all for these parts this time of the year...someone's up there playing around again.. In short the front boundries of these storms are being twisted out of normal about 50 per cent off in it's flow normally direction wise. Another hot day today..winds just started.  Thinking about dragging out the air-consitioner.I doubt out plants can take an season of unusal weather..it's already to dry here when these winds keep up like they are. We aren't talkin of an light breeze. Should of hung me up an clothes line I guess and made the best of it. Ah, tylenol kicked in..stiff neck gone. Have an good day everyone...enjoy your walk into town James. I gave it up with an cougar loose one year...I had to walk past an tree lined freewayand I know they like to climb higher branches....I did not want to take the chance of being it's subway sandwhich  lunch for the day...if you understand. Never got back to walking into town after that.

It's very warm and sunny here Cathy, been out all afternoon making the most of it Laughing We've been trespassing on a wind farm, didn't know we shouldn't have been there until we saw the 'No unauthorised persons beyond this point' on the way out, someone had left the gate open.
