I deceided lst night wasn't the best of nights for me. Ruth...hope you enjoy your chickens...I know an lady calls her chickens "the ladies" all the time...you can't beat truly "fresh" eggs. They are high priced for the kind I get because they are specialty eggs with no cholestrol..., brown eggs at that, and organic range-free chickens. And of course, no steroids, no hormones, not fed with GMO feed. But for what few I eat.....they are worth the price. I've had about an handful of strawberries out of my garden despite the birds. they do have that earthly garden natural taste to them I remember as an kid in the berry fields...an flat of local strawberries is here $23.00. Watermelons are out from California also and not to badly priced. I guess I best get going for this morning...I have an diet journal to start with as one project....so have an good day everyone! |

I know they are let out each morning to roam around on their own, and I'm told they come back to the roost on their own accord at dusk, so we'll see |

Cathy I was only joking when I asked you if your pic was taken in England because it looks so English, a lot of the SA scenery are like England it must make you feel quite at home |
