This person looks normal to me, except for being quite tall, so I find it hard to think "alein". I always check in the newspaper on my birthday what it says for the coming year...and it looks like we are all in love today for some reason with each other. Maybe to stay warmer, it's raining and feels cold to me today. Yesterday ended on an rather sour note for me also..except for the sample of an mago-strawberry smoothe at the health club..I'm having an really hard time at the changes of it all along with the diet this week. But I'm working at getting organized somewhat.....OK...June 13th..if today is your birthday...By concentrating on your ambitions your likely to get ahead during the next few months (I have no choice on the diet as I have an host of Lab tests to take comin gup soon)...You may recieve some kind of home improvement during July or August based on your fiine business acumen and keen eye for ways to produce finanical gain.I don't know abut that one...but I want my kitchen improved and the flooring replaced in the house and indeed, I've been thinking an long time of how to go about it less expensively. I can't see any way to get the fan over my stove replaced from and kichen fire some time back, and now it looks so out of date on top of things. By all rights, I needan microwave oven with an fan built in it...but hubby is correct..I'd have to check to see if my big pressure canner cooker still be used if I installed one. So maybe he's right from years ago that what I really need is an small apartment sized stove an oven out on the back porch built in instead...then I could do the cannin gout there perhaps in summer and save the house from getting so hot. As crazy as it sounds...if my freezer goes out..the only way I have to save my meat should power be out any length of time is to right then and there "can it" myself..I would like to store my empty canning jars on the outside of my house in an enclosed shelf anyway for easier access then in teh storage shed, that seems to always get stuff pile in there unorganized and impossible to find some days. Especially boxes...my hubby keeps every box we buy something in for some reason. ..sometimes they come in handy, sometimes not. Anway..I watched an guy cut perfectly square wooden tiles...stain them himself and replace his flooring, it looked really nice...under my carpet now all I have is the sub-flooring...newer houses. Then I looked over Cliff High's redoinghis kitchen counter also...he went and got tiles that look like granite...and placed them in an diamond shape on an board and used plain black cement in between the tiles and sealed over the whole thing...making sure everything was level height. So far the only two ideas that seem reasonable to me with an professional look to them. But anyway...I better get going for now as I have lots to do. I know my family knows today is my birthday, but rather they do anything about it or not remains to be seen...everyone is tired... out of money...and not to socialable these days. We never had "birthdays" growing up...so it would not be anything new exactly. Some more of that Native American family influence... and large families. So have an good day everyone. You can now be in love I guess for the day...smiles* |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:57 on 14th June 2013 Ron, he's not to bad looking...he may be my nephew over there in England...you just never know...I know they are watching me herethough for EMP's and have been for 3 years now if not before. Do you guys have black tri-angled huge "Ufo" looking space-craft? I got some phone calls last night and we went out to dinner for my birthday..low key...but that OK also as it's hard to stay on my diet this week. I'm doing about 200 to 300 calories an day to many, so each day I fins ways to cut it down some more. It seems like last year it's better for me to have Cinnamon"life" cereal with skim milk for breakfast and cup of coffee...an fresh orange couple hours later..the small platte of steamed veggies for lunch...and dinner is an saladwith an couplel ozs of meat...and low fat yogurt before I go to bed. Thenon weekends I can eat more normally...and not gain weight. I see Princess Kate is "ship" Christianing before she goes on maternity leave...and I think she's over- do on that one with the baby due early July maybe...she doesn't have to much time left. She looks in good shape for being so close to delivery. In the meantime...an wee and tiny grey kitten was born couple days ago with two faces on it...at Amity, Oregon...an small rural community south of me...closer to Salem, Oregon. Veternarians are keeping an eye on it and bottle feeding it. It is joined at about the eyes. I couldn't see any movement in the second face...but it still has it's eyes closed. They said that most often they don't live very long...but you never know...people have taken to this little disabled kitty cat with complete compassion and love besides "awe" of it. If they can't get it straightened out..maybe the "circus" some day?...they have proven in the past to have the unusual in nature. I found this excerise progam for older adults..don't cost much money and thought it would be an good alernative to the health club. It was made by an older US Surgeon General..and Tufts University out of Boston, it's easy to read and the download of this 119 page book is for the public to use for free...it has testing/excerise/explaination of the excerises/ group workoout sheets you can do and goes from starter to advanced techniques...it's an complete program geared to your current status in strength. It's not an huff and puff pysical regimen, it's about keeping your strength in your muscles as you age. It's an one liner...so... http://www.cdc.gov/physicalactivity/downloads/growing_stronger.pdf hope that come in for everyone..we had problems with the "dot" before the pdf...but it's on line also..plug in "excerises for muscel strength" in your search engine and it should come up. I thought I was done with the garden, but with the rain, thought I'd plant some greens...so have red cabbage plants, Swiss Chard greens, and some arugula (type of lettace) to plant today and it's wating for me to do. My nastruims/violets/other flower eatbles arecoming up and I can maybe some day make me an pretty salad with some fresh musrooms and green pepper strips or green onions in itand an lite flavorful salad dressing..I like Blue cheese. It's my roses though..they refuse to grow this year properly. So will talk to you all later on...have an good weekend. (Take notice that there's an excerise where you push away from the wall..isn't that better then running into one?..laughs*..always feel like an "Pinball" machine when I stub my toe walking through the house on something..bing/bong/ouch/Grrr...you know how it goes..and one reason why I bought my son. glowing night light up "Leggo blocks" when he was little..I could see any I might of missed picking up) |
Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 03:42 on 15th June 2013 2.4 hours on the "timed" machines at the health club..lost about 2 pounds tonight when I weighted myself....but I imagine getting back on the diet meant an lot also. Just made hubby crispy fish taco's using fish sticks, in an tortilla wrap with lettace, tomato, avacado, black olives, strips of green pepper, fat free mayo with some lite 1,000 island dressing, and cheese bits, he dowsed it in hot sauce...he finsished his dinner with potao chips..beer...and watermelon....some people got it made..I didn't eat the torilla wrap with mine..and had less of it all. Happy"Father's Day" in case I get busy this weekend planting. |
