Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 07:49 on 18th June 2013 No..not really James.. but getting better..laid down for an bit...did the garden pool today....I never felt so much weight in two tiny rocks in my life as the ones I was trying to manuver over to the garden pool so I could build it up and place the running waterfall on it to drop water into the pool eventually...this is year 3 we have been working on this project...I"ve been working on it.. I used the wheel barrel also. Got the rock over there and decided to lay it on it's side and fill in with barkdust....which I did manage to do...eventually. It's all planted...all we got to have is the pump running...it's done. I bought one today, but he says it's to big...I explained it was the last fountain pump there...but he's sure he can make do with something else...we had something else..he didn't wan tto bother with it....all he has to do for this one is get the tubing, place it, and plug it in. I just got done hearing on "coast" that some place over there in England by the name of "Tesco"...I take it an discount grocery store of some kind...is going to hand over all thier customers receipts to your health organization so they can go through what you buy and if its good for your health. But this person talking about this said that in Venzuela...they use the receipts to deny people in buying things. If they have an shortage of food for instance...they can deny letting someone buy something they want. They also can control items on sale and people can't stock up on them to save money down the road to more or less say. This would never work around my housefor several reasons...I'm always buying food for others in the family, but even if I weren't so many festivals these days there's an two cans of food for admitance to them. So like what do you do during the Holidays and want to make something special perhaps? Or your supplying food for an wedding maybe. The idea of doing this seems very bazzar to me....as there's not to much consitinency in buying unless your in some kind of institutionalized setting in being incarstinated...like an nursing home/prison perhaps. One reason why people hate them generally also..lack of freedom. We have the boys tonight, so sissy can go in tomarrow for her surgery. They seem to want to stay in the livingroom instead of theirbedroom for some reason...but school is out now so won't bug them for an bit. Here I am all but feeling like I'm coming unglued from today's projects around the house. So I go an leave everyone alone for an bit and hope all goes well tomarrow....you should be just about getting up in England. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 16:25 on 18th June 2013 Well, Peggy..the magnectic pad worked last night..when I went to lay down I could hardly stand to do it for the back pain...all gone this morning. Yes, I will be thinking of sissy all this morning...hoping things go well, so people can' t pick on her any more at school. I get it all the time myself...one I like the best is the whispering across the room..when they know darn well I can't hear them standing beside me talking louder.... then they shake thier head at me... like I'm helpless to put up with. Under my breathe I want to call them "idiots". Cold hearted idiots at that. You see...when you rleg is in an cast up to your proverbial "chin"..you can see the disabilty...but hearing prolems you can't. see...so you tend to not understand them at all. I think I better go get that long awaited recliner chair for the livingroom, so my grandson has some place to lay into an sleep near his brother (on the sofa) while over here...as is he's in an wing chair with an ottomon, that doesn't want to stay put..it's on rollers. So it is I am thinking of the song..."Away in the manger"....no crib for his head...though it's the feet he's dealing with in not staying put. I have air mattresses....if they would of told me they weren't going into their own room...I would of blown some of them up instead. Perhaps he can get some extra sleep later on sometime. Kids are like that, they make do where ever most the time. Weather forecast... wide bands of chemtrailing amid sunshine with an heavy and cold wind to it....which from time time stops like someone turned off the wind switch for an bit. I go see what I can get mysefl into this morning...probably pancakes...have an good day. |

It was an windy day..I hate windy days...so I had my moment of depression just an bit ago. It's stopped being windy and was lightly raining. The pond is finished and up and running now..all planted also. Hubby planted my sunflower for me, it's been an while since I found someone that sold them. We had picnic outside today...pool still cold water though...my grandson hasan passion for swimming I think. Picked up the dogs. Dogs downstairs, cats upstairs. Not much I can do but wait on sissy..my son said he'd call me...and I wonder if it wouldn't be better to just let her stay there overnight...but I guess they will decide on that one. Oldest grandson goes to scouts tonight with grandpa, but then stays with Connor...our Scout Master's grandson for an week. I'll miss him also you know...but so goes. Si it's going to be the youngest Grandson and the dogs, until they get picked up sometime. Hubby took today off to be with me and this houseful, but goes back to work tomarrow. Will talk later, weather providing. All three of the managers showed up to help me today...Mariah was born ...after her mother quit working for the store...so they remember her as an wee tiny baby if frilly pink. I was going to work for them after that but got called into to do Jury Duty most all winter long...and couldn't work there...but we have remained friends for some time now. Thier district manager, was one of my "Lunch Bunch" ladies daughter at one time...many years ago. We go back an long ways. Time justkind of slips by any more these days. Have an good evening everyone. |

I'm getting the feeling that hubby didn't want the dogs here any longer then had to be...though it's true, thier food and everthing they are use to are at thier house, not ours. |
