Yes, I do Peggy...tell you why...my mother's back use to go out on her, and we'd have to take her to an chriopractor..office next door back then...he took two round disks of cyrstals...and was twisting them from her neck down to her spine...and he pulled out the longest bluish lightening bolt I ever seen....he told me he had "grounded" her...you can do this daily yourself, simply by walking out in the wet grass barefoot...it makes an delectrical connecetion to the ground. I have since heard that people whom are healers have an lot of positive energy in them..and must be grounded if they aren't imparting thier healing to others constantly. The Lady on "coasttocoast" last week mentioned that with her "dowsing" rods....that they worked best with people that are healers and have an lot of high positive energy. That must be why I laugh at Ojua boards...as I can make that little answering triangle piece fly all over the board without ever asking an question...spell oout anything on my mind also. So yes, I think magnectics work and you can get them in the hardware stores where the guys drops their nails in woodworking...they useually sell them for easy pick up in thier working.  It is also an good way to clear out those wanting to make spiritual attachments also...known as "pyschic vampires"...they want to feed off your mentality...Reiki healing is an technique that is more suitable to keep others at bay while helping them. If you have doubts about them...try crystals...if you don' think they have electrical currents in them, rub two of them together and watch the ligthening storm going on in your hands...get in an dark room and watch the flickers going on between them. The universe is energy..mostly electrical to "create"...your heart is electrical....why for some it must have this electrical current supplied by an pace maker sometimes. .The orientals believe that first comes thought...then energy..then manifestation into the material. Some of the highly spirtual onescan manfest "clouds" and disperse them over in the Far east, just by thought.  I'll touch lightly on that in my next chapter of my  book on "illumination"...there are many ways to "balance" out your electrical properties in the body...if you use crystals...you must pick them out as to how you are attracted to them and they will attract you...they must be cleansed..given the univesal programing (basically not harming anyone, including yourself)....and then work with them. To do an  "Star of David" balance..lay on the floor with six crystals...your hands an feet outward...and place an crystal at the end of them...the other two crystals..one goes above your head and the other on yours stomach...near the navel.  Lay there for about 15 mins. Now the magnectic pads are less costly and simple...as EarthquakeMary saidhaving one hanging on the wall...clears the room constantly of today's eviromentals that are not good (such as electro-magnectic influences)...thus you heal faster. You can get an light touch of that with using Miso soup also...Japanese found that out after we bombed them..it seemed to clear the body of radiation exposure. With all the communication devices...we need to do that...and I understand that they drink "miso" over there like we do coffee and tea...every day. You should ALWAYS use it after x-rays and cat scans...or chemo therapy...it clears your blood system/nervous system/electrical system somewhat. But what you decide to do is of your own choice. England has some very good sources of help and in healing and the aura..or did have..before the illness manests that just fascinates me. they were the first ones to pick up an "entity" on an person they were healing....if had thought of its own...and it knew it was being watched and knocked out the machinery they were using...they describe it and showed it in an magazine as an dark blob of light...where it came from they don't know..it could of been an thought of the person they were healing also...though the called it another entity because of it's own actions. Hope that helps you some.

Ruth....yes, when I had my babies as I call them, quail, bob whites, and ducks....you go to the "feed store" and buy them specialty food in pellets...along with some grit...and mix them...and the diet changes as they get older and bigger. You also have to have an heat lamp as babies, unless the mother is around. They grow fast. Really fast. Once they get thier feathers...they don't need the heat lamp any more...but will an small tub or swimming pool to swim on top of.  Idon't  think chikens need that..but will water. I've alsways heard to give them cracked corn as they age. But your feed store generally has fortified feed for them for not to much...farmer's can't spend to much money and make an profit off thier produce you know. You can now buy roosters that won't crow every morning...and an wide variety of chickens for purposes you need them for...usually meatier or bigger, or feathers and color, or egg colors...they have an variety that lays different colored eggs also..just all kinds of them. My neighbor when we first lived here...kept hers in cages during the night in front of her garage window (pened) and let them free roam during the day. She bought them as chicks early in the Spring, raised them, had them killed  dressed out at the local butcher's every fall. She did this two years to fertilize her backyard...tilled everything under aand limed the ground and planted her grass seed. She had three cages with three chickens I think. I had two ducks. My bobtails and reing necked phsants were so small when I got them..one day they walked out of their cages between teh wires of all things. I had been raising them in an cardboard box with an heat lamp and an bit of strw in it...them weekly I burned the box and started with an clean one. My ducks when they got big enough found thier own place they were comfortable..."the ladies" I told you about, use to roost at night in and lower tree branch....don't expect to many eggs in th winter unless they are under an light source of some kind...they require anminal amount of light daily. That's about all I can think of right now..but there's plenty of people most likely willing to help you if you need help of any kind...Mother Earth News Magazine an those like it often discuss raising chickens...your feed store will have an book most likely also. They get thier own personailties liek any "pet" does, though they say to never make them into "pets" if your going to later on put them in your freezer dressed out. They will also eat your bugs, and an few varieties your weeds also...my ducks use to liketo eat worms in my garden...slugs...never had any slugs when they were around. Good luck. Enjoy raising them and eating the fresh eggs.

I better go, I promised Ron I'd not write such big postings...smiles*

As if not enough...the little girl I was raising, her grandmother had the keys to the local "Grange Hall" for the farmer's and 4-H clubs...and she took to raising Gheanies...however thats spelled...as birds they are much larger then most chickens..lay bigger eggs and she was always doing an lot of baking...cause she fed an lot of farmer's every weekend at the Grange...made lots of homemade bread and rolls.. She felt they were an healthier stock also...and didnt' fight and make as much noise as lots of chickens did when free-ranging on her property...could put them in with her Geese or Turkeys.  Feathers aren't pretty, mostly black and white. You can also I think use the eggs to feed other livestock I think also, such as piglets...dogs and cats perhaps. One reason why I always like the fortified feed...which you change to an different kind later on as they grow and eventually don' t need if free ranging is supplied. Grit they will always need a bit of to make the egg shells harden properly.

Now I'm laughing....well, some day maybe she'll present you with an small chick for Easter.... I thought they were going to be yours. As for me...city hall says no chickens...but you know...it's how well you take care of them and many people have thier dogs killing thier neighbors for as well as they take care of them...so maybe it's an better idea to buy your eggs...if you can afford them.notizze to you to think your eating eggs. but then again..if you can't ... maybe you know and hispanic that would like to stop the cock fighting in secret and sell "Black market" eggs?...laughs* again. Reminds me of meeting the head CEO at work where my dad worked at Reynold Metals Aluminun most his life...I said, I thought they sent you to Brazil...he said they did, they sent everyone back home again..I said why..he said because we were starving....the Black Market would steal our food supply to re-sell before WE could get our hands on it...and they were afraid they'd try to eventually confinscate us for selling also for an profit....I shouldn't of said that...there may be an banker lurking..I wouldn' t want to give them any ideas...we already have taliban and terrorist problems as it is some times.

Ron..sorry for the long posting......POE is going to own me eventually...weak smile*
