Cathy is a fantastic photographer but naturally she cannot display them here, also  I do wonder why on that site the members get 3 or 4 times the amount of comments, are we lazy?Surprised

Please can anyone tell me how to make pics in High Definition, A long time ago I uploaded some overseas holiday pictures from my family on to flickr, I recieved a request for a picture of Paris to be put in a magazine but they wanted me to send it to them in High Definition, I could not do that because I had not got a clue how to do it, but I read that the website is now displaying all pictures in HD, and now I am curious

I thought they had to be taken in HD Peggy but I may be wrong, my phone takes HD videos but Standard photos. Maybe someone else knows, but I did think you needed an HD camera, unless there is someway of converting SD pictures on a computer. Not something I've ever thought about so it would be nice to know.

You might just need to set your camera to take the highest resolution possible, I have on my camera.

I've just found the HD setting for taking photos on my phone Peggy, but I have no such facility on my Fuji camera, having had a quick search around the web I think you might need an HD equipped camera. I'm having a bit of difficulty looking as I'm stood on a harbour wall, typing with one hand and clutching a bunch of Cornish Asparagus with the other - not the ideal research conditions Smile

Rustyruth.....wheres the pictures of the cottages, can you post them here or not?

Ok, people, when it gets 90 degrees here anything higher is going to be sent to England...just thought you'd like to know that... so get the inner-tube out for swimming or water play. I know of two others that agree with me also...you can take the degrees left over..after 90.

We have already went into "summer mode" here with sissy..that is staying up half the night.... and sleeping in until noon. It requires an fresh fruit an muffin breakfast daily also...out on the patio. Lazy day...not tonight but for now. Guys stay over night at scouts this weekend close by.

My kids told me that they would be at her freind's house near by for July 4th...so I thought...why stay home alone more or less.. and made arrangments to go and see "fireworks" over the river . I  was told I'd see them at the same time twice over the river and perhaps an third time on the tv in my room...with an balcony.  This is about the first time I've been any where since the so called "tea" I wanted to have was taken down by my sister in-law not showing up. Sad thing is she now tells me that her sister down south of me has an professional tea room...and I ought to see her tea cups...I felt like saying..gee, I don't think I can show up...after being all "gun-ho" to the idea originally in my suggesting it. I call her "Ms. Piggy" now..as that's how I percieve most of what she does... and the bible saysyou should never put your pearls before swine, or they will take them and render you...something in that way...I am an Gemini...Pearls are my birthstone gem. I don't hate her or anything...just that I am watching how she does things and she's an controller...they defineately like to render others..in thier own behalf most the time. I wonder if she was raised that way...as some of her family has done simliar to her before. One reason I don't see my brother to much...he does it also. One reason why his previous wives walked out on him also. When an person gets an one sided friendship...you do all the paying...it' s easy to leave it. Life has much to offer at times..besides that.  At any rate I must get going for now. I now have to get this finger of mine healed up as the place I'm going has an swimming area that has an view also...I'd like to do while there perhaps. Talk later on.

That's the one Shirley, it's taken from the beach at low tide. The chickens are somewhere in the bushes, it's proving a bit of a challenge getting them to go back into the roost on an evening, we were told they came when called - well they don't Frown

Have a good day everyone, sun is shining here and it's getting quite warm.

I haven't Peggy, they've not been laying for a couple of weeks now, apparently this particular breed (Black Orpingtons) are renowned for this sort of behaviour. Maybe next week, we'll see.
