I have never been in a Mc Donalds i dont fancy it somehow but i remember years ago in my teens we used to frequent the Wimpy bar on a friday night they were not too bad.

The first time I ever heard of Wimpy, was when Mrs. Slocombe said she would have gotten a Wimpy cheeseburger before staff meeting..

I remember Wimpy, they probably didn't taste too bad when you were young James, but I bet if you had one now you'd think they were awful. I can't imagine ever eating anything from any of the fast food take-a-way places, it all looks inedible to me.

I can't really say on here what my husband used to tell the children that McDonalds burgers were made of, needless to say, acute embarassment was caused when our eldest daughter opened her big mouth when she was 7 at a childrens Birthday party at McDonalds, she refused to eat, telling everyone including the staff what went in them Embarassed

Hi Richard, you OK, we should be due a re-run of Are You Being Served before long, the old ones still keep coming around.

Diana...that's how many of our huge fine homes are being taken over by Hispanics these days...they move all the relatives in to share the rent and costs. I have to laugh because they really roll up their noses at us mere middle income people living in smaller less wealthy homes...paying for them ourselves.  Of course everything they do we pay for most the time in Govt. Help to them. I thought the Boston Marathon father was still over in Russia or where ever it was they were from over there. I do approve of your housing ruling with the exception of an small baby...it much as to do with the size of the room for the most part though.  With the high ceilings of some apartments, I am not surprised people have not built additional bedrooms up in the air these days. They do it all the time in the industrial buildings  and converted spaces for condo's. Easy to make lofts in those huge spaces. Latest low cost living is converting metal grain storage towers into an house...they sell new for $5,700...and the one I saw was placed on an rock bottom section and had two levels to the entire thing...Kitchen/dining/bathrrom down below...livingroom second floor and  top floor bedrooms with balcony coming off it and stairway in some cases....the middle section was all windows and also had an small balcony and patio doors...all shiney bright metal with an lot of window inserted...looked very nice an modern and could be added with other units when more room was needed. Rain proof and fire ressitant, no outside maintence hardly they are going over well for cabins in the mountains also as well as into the hillsides...remind me of yurts only metal...each floor of the one I saw was about 300 sq feet...though they are "round"...but you can get them as big as you want them apparently. I think the enclosed... outside stairway.... would save an lot of inside space with an firepole going down the middle of thing..HA!...what an hoot that would be to slide down for breakfast in the morning!
