You've just reminded me James, I downloaded the Spotify app onto my phone, and I don't think I've even looked at it yet, I'll have to give it a go Smile

Let me know how you go on.

I feel terribly homesick today.

I don't have any money, but thats not going to stop me coming home next May. Until then, looking longingly at my pictures, looking at POE pictures, and watching my English wildlife DVDs is going to have to suffice.

This house I live in comes as close to calling anything "Home" and it's an struggle everyday hanging on to it also, it's never really ever been completely the way I wanted things to be either for the lack of money needed. My kids were practically ran out also, by the school district...into their own place...they don't really own it..they rent.  I think at times they feel an lot like I do about where they live.  I don't know why, but no one ever wanted my family to own anything like an "home"..... Rather it was back east with the relatives or out here Closest I get to an "home" is my personal God...even the churches don't help us..can't think of anyone that has beyond once in an while with something they don't want to deal with, so they give that to us. Maybe why I've already had two near death experiences. . I think of Jesus being ran out of  his "Home" also when he announced he was the savior...and from then on...walked his way to into history before they caught up with him eventually... and killed him.  He told me this entity I call "JC"...that meditation would greatly reduce my stress in life if I would learn it. Maybe help with my heart problems had I done it long ago.

Today we close up the backyard of summer related living, the ten tby the fire pit is being taken down, the cushions off the patio furniture and so forth. It's suppose to rain starting tomarrow for three days next week. I'll get the little kiddie pool taken down before we go to see hubby's sister probably...if we get to do that one also. I most likely won't go to the wedding, but send hubby to it with our gift...I'm off the crutches today but I don't think I could stand to walk very much..wihtout it making an big "scene" in doing so..these kids need to be the center of the limelight today...not me.  I was hanging on to the sides of the walls trying to get through this house yesterday. So this will be something that hubby and the other Scouts that attend can remember together later on. Hope the rain holds off for them today also. I best get going for now and struggle downstairs and see how things are going in the backyard also. Will talk to you all later on.....have an good day.

Hi to all POEsters. Going to try to have a day of relaxation today after Neil made the suggestion.

May even download his meditation disk. Bet you didn't know he is into relaxation and meditation? Perhaps he will talk about it a little here in the forums to enlighten us all.

C'mon Neil, there's the challenge so now let us all into what you do.

Hi forum members preparing my reply as Ron has given me this  fantastic opportunity to talk about one of the things I enjoy most

I think you should start a new thread titled 'Meditation' or 'Relaxation' or whatever it is you do Neil.

You never know, if it were to help anybody at all (privately) that is, and I'm not suggesting they pour their hearts out here in the forum unless they feel they want the world to know, then I think it would be a useful resource to have in the POE forum.

I'm watching the space! lol

Make sure you spell the title correctly Neil because I don't have access to edit that section. It would mean going to C&S and that takes time.

Looking forward to what you have to say on the subject.
