Good morning everyone, another lovely sunny one here today. Busy getting stuff ready for our holiday next week. I seem to have more cables and chargers than anything else, in fact I seem to have more cables and chargers than things to charge with them - I'm sure they're duplicating the the drawer Smile

I do hope Peggy is OK, I can't recall her saying she was going away on holiday at all.

It's a beautiful afternoon here but I'm stuck in because I'm expecting a couple of parcels, and if I move more than a foot from the the door Royal Mail will take them away back to the main deport, which is a 16 miles round trip. There is a PO in the village that they have to call into to collect stuff - why not leave them there instead. Makes me so cross Yell

I'm seldom an winner of money..it requires great effot to give me money of any kind apparently in this life time. Don't ask me why.Not only am I made to earn it..but ususally at the lowest pay out there is available also. Deep down, me and money never got along much. It seems to me like most the time tss wasted then used properly anyway.

Mark's mother in-law died and he posted an picture of his wife's hand gently holding his MIL hand up to the end. A picuture they will in years "cherish"..he came in an thanked us for staying with him through the ordeal in prayers. It was an very "touching" picture.

Earthboppin is going just plainly frantic over there with this "comet" coming by November...and many are posting all the doomsday messages they have been reading concerning it. They think the big one (9.7 earthquake) will hit San Francisco by Oct. 1st for beginners.Of course they are somewhat saying that it may be the end of o our planet also...which makes them even more frantic sounding. Most are saying to prepare for the three days of darkness as described in the bible. Hard to go in there right now with all the dire news going on.

Next three days we will be hit by the remeants of two old typhoons hitting the west coast..one incoming from Alaska, the other from the Pacific ocean..the super typhoon of last week in China...not sure what conspires when they meet by they are saying massive amount of rain all over the western states. My area could see as much as 4 inches...and closer to Mt. Hood 6 inches and even more on the summit of it...rather in snow or rain hard telling right now. So we are under an "Alert" to prepare for about anything,,..and try to survive itall unscathed.

I go an see the doctor today and see if I can get my heart medications from him or not..if Not, not sure what I'll do there after. Time is getting close to where I'll need them here pretty soon. It would be nice to not have to have them, but ususally after the third day of not having them..I can really feel it healthwise.  I am also amid all the hectic times right now trying to fit in one visit with hubby's sister before winter sets in where she lives also.

So it looks like an long day today for me with everything going on...Will check back in later on.

For those about to hit the Lakes- it must be a good omen as the I-Spy/ POE meeting house pub ie. The King's Arms -Hawkshead has popped up in the random image bar here on POE a number of times this evening !!. All I can say is go for it and have a brilliant time .

Forecast for the first few days is pretty encouraging but knowing the 'micro-climate' that exists over there I will work on what greets me when I open the curtains in the mornings. But come what may I will enjoy every minute of it....

Dull day here at the moment with heavy rain overnight first significant rainfall since early May the trees needed the water everything was burned up with the constant sun, and it has also reduced the fire risk in our locality.

But good day to everyone may your day be rewarding, and anyone who is traveling have a safe journey.
