Hi to all, hope the day is good for you.

Anna has me back on the Propoints thing (never left it really) but I need to lose 2 stones in 2 months, which I reckon is probably achievable.

I have to have a knee replaced so whatever I can get off will help when the day of surgery arrives, expected to be about 2/3 months.

Yippeeee, be able to chase that Sue H around Wheatley again!

So Ron's got a gammy knee, eh.

Not sure how much 'running' I can do any more Ron, but I'll head to the nearest pub and we can buy each other a drink when you've caught up.

No ice on the bird water so far, so I'm looking forward to another pleasant autumn day.

Greetings and Felicitations, one and all!  Didya miss me?  :-)  Life has been soooo busy this year with working all the time and planning my daughter's wedding.  I'm exhausted!  But there is light at the end of the tunnel.  The wedding is on for this coming Saturday, 12 October, and only a bit of last minute stuff to do.  She and I are both taking most of this week off, thankfully.  Hopefully, things will go off without a hitch.  Perhaps after I'm officially a mother-in-law, I will be able to rest a bit and get back to normal.  How are all of my PoE pals doing these days?

(Wish I was only half way to 50!)

Barbara...what an surprise...so what colors is the wedding that's coming up. See, if you were Bill Clinton, Chelsea got an houseful of furniture for her wedding from his friends...perhaps tax write=offs maybe? Here I'm dealing with an rusty knife that was given to me by my neighbor "Sue" some 45 years ago for chopping veggies, so it got replaced this last weekend...along with my diet. I've lost 7 pounds this last week.  The 900 calories an day is the thing.. and I think I've got this kind of figured out now, about 1,000 to 1100 calories an day Ithink I can stabilze and not gain anything...won't lose anything either though unless I do this 900 calories a day and 30 minute walking. My feet are unswelling with the cooler temperatures, so maybe I can get back into the health club again here soon. Storm came in last night.

Good morning everyone.  Ron my sister-in-law Dee Dee goes in supposedly Oct. 14th for an hip bone replacement...I don' tknow how to say this but she's so top heavy...all she is all bustline with two little legs hanging off her body down below, she's short to at 5'2  or lower...and that IS her problem, As to her hips..she can't carry her upper weight properly. She honestly needs breast reduction of about 3 inches to 5 inches each side to just balance herself...it's not really funny.  She was suppose to lose 12 pounds before the surgery, but I don't know if she's done it or not. Probably her doctor was trying to see if she lost weight if that would solve the problem without the surgery. She says she's taking her down time from the operation to return to nursing school so she can get some more money...as you know money is everything these days. I think before we can straighten out the economy we have to have an way to live without the need for money. Which means we need to take an good look at how our ancestors did it long ago. Though thanks to fencing, pesticides liberally used(I'm using the biggest spiders you ever saw right now)...and to many people... many of our land resources to house us and feed us isn't there any longer. We should be developing ways to bring those resources back into play for others.... for free useage in harsh times. We also have to stop making people mentally ill and physically ill, so they can help themselves an little better. That's why the animals, and many of the Indian tribes, use to kill their "sick" people...they couldn't sustain themselves naturally... as they moved on...were culled out of the tribe to heal, or get killed...animals kill their lot that can't survive on their own. Reminds of the Nazi's and their "supreme" race they were developing during WWII. We need to arrive at an "balance" in these problems.

Richard. are.you getting snow?....I heard there's an snow storm all across the midwest and eastside Rocky Mountains. My Oak trees are now turning and leaves falling. It won't be long. Both for rthe Holidays and returning to my writing this winter. I gotta go for now..so everyone have an good day/evening whichever it is.

Morning everyone Smile

Managed to get my dongle up and running but I don't know for how long. It works super fast at home, it must be this area of Cornwall that it's not so keen on, didn't realise you could miss wi-fi so much.

Weather taken a bit of a turn for the worse here today, started off lovely and sunny now we have a fine drizzle, hopefully it will blow over.

Rick, have a nice time visiting Peggy Laughing
