Settled in here James, weather is too awful to go outdoors. We don't bother with the TV on a Saturday evening, nothing on to our taste. Will probably dig out a DVD later Smile

Tom hanks new movie is out now..I'd like to go and see that one, but will have to wait until my social security check comes and I understand what Obama gave last year ($23 an month)...is probably taken by tx revenues from the state and county coming up this month. So I don' tknow if I have enough money to cover everything this year or not, let alone see an movie. But I'll look at it...they also recently changed one of my credit cards for suspected "fraud" dealing with it. They said they would keep investigaging the account on the old number I  had.  My son couple of years ago had his bank account wiped out by an cashier down at the local Walmart store...another reason I don't like using debit cards for shopping. It took them several years before they caught an whole ring of people involved...for him the bank insurance backed up his account..or they would of been completely without money to live on daily. It is raining here today. Next four days suppose to be nice ones though. I've ran into my first day without some kind of lost in weight...going slower by now maybe...I still need another 17 pounds off by mid-November if possible....enjoy the day!

I am hoping the Federal Govtment sends out my Social Security check on time.... or that could prevent an problem also.  My sister made it under the wire with hers before they decided to stop everything in Washington D. C. recently....I wish I had the $10,000 per hour they are making doing nothing...it would be like heaven to me right now.

Totally agree but have to say I actually sat and watched The 39 Steps this afternoon. Very rarely have TV on, simplynothing worth watching. And all the so called 'reality' shows are just a sheer waste of time and money Got stuff recorded from last year (2012) that i've not watched yet!!!

The 39 Steps is worth watching anytime. Reality TV and Soaps to me are the stuff of nightmares. Trying to find a decent film on a Saturday evening is impossible, that's probably why we've got around 200 DVD's.

Like you Dave, we still have stuff recorded from last year not yet watched. We have family and friends who think we're odd because the TV isn't on all day and night.
