All of the versions have theirt own twists, this was the Robert Powell one, not my favourite but still enjoyable. Had a look through what is recored earlier on today and must have at least 25 hours worth of music progs to watch... when is another problem!! Plus quite a few films...

One programme worth looking out for Dave is a series called " Metal Evolution", some superb interviews , sound bites , and lots of knowledge on rock music in all it's forms- trouble is it is usually aired on Sky Arts.

Shame, we got rid of Sky a couple of years ago and went for Freesat instead. Don't miss it that much, but the occasional thing turns up on Sky that would be nice to see.

I got some chores on my list taken care of today...first the recliner rocker for my sister..and they gave me an very nice senior discount...and I made it to the health club today also...did 1.30 mile in 30 mintues with an five minute cool down....and we just got back from the movies with my youngest grandson, we went to see Cloudy with meatballs.. part two. Plus the craft items I needed to start making some Christmas Bulbs when my sister in-law gets out of her hip replacement operation this Monday...something to play around with as she will be down for about 6 weeks...let's hope less. Plus, hubby took the granddaughter to an "sports shop" and she now has her Boston Red Socks posters..one here and one out at her room at her house. So it's been an long day in ways for me. I agree with you on the TV these days in ways...but I am an person that likes to learn new things...so Soaps are something my doctor said to cool it with, and they fight to much and are stressful...but I turn on HGTV and watch the different things they do to make things. The real estate clan has moved in so I don't watch it as much as I use to. How else you think I'd learn how to make an entire Christmas village scene using "rocks"..and buying the people and small trees?. Or taking an old stove...and making it into an BBQ grill...with storage for the Brickets?I have seen some pretty novel ideas over the years...such as making your own 12 by 12 inch tiles out of plywood sheets and staining them or painting them, and antiquing them with an dark glaze and then laying them down like regular tiles...and putting an sealer over them. You can't imagine what they are doing these days with cement and those design stamps in it, and then ideas from floors to kitchen counters, to containers for plants..and patio's. . But anyway..it's been an long day for me, so talk to everyone later on.But the really "hot" thing going today is to have your own tree house. Some of them are pretty large for an treehouse...one fella made his into an "pub" for his guy type friends. Beer on tap included. I don't know where the rest of my post got sent to, but think I'll turn in for tonight...talk later on.
