Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 22:28 on 13th October 2013 Grandson home now...went to the movies last night...nice day out and I'm tired kind of...lots to do though. Mondays use to be my day of rest from the weekends. My sister had an friend named Julia all through high school....she had an two older brothers, one was engaged to my sister in-law, and it didn't work out, they broke up, and the other brother married an friend I had going through high school. They had four kids, three girls and an boy....today we sawher husband's obitutary in the newspaper. It listed 15 grandkids and 4 great grandkids, and nothing else, none of them by name. A very short Obituary indeed. Last I talked to her she said that Kenny's mother had passed away and they were moving into her house east of town, but then I went by the house one time afterwards and it was up for sale...perhaps estate sale maybe? So don' t know nothing about this ordeal and she didn't say why he died or where he was working or any of the ususal stuff. But I did call up my sister before she headed out to church this morning to tell her. Kenny's' dad died when he was an kid from an automible accident...left his mom with six small kids as an widow. Like my hubby's widowed mother also..everyone in town knew them....lots of kids. I was rather enjoying the fall color today, but my joints are saying ti's going to be cold tonight. I already did my morning 30 minute walking...finally lost down to 10 pounds..with about 17 left to go before the Holidays...Hope there are some enjoyable ones this year for me. Talk to you all later on. Mike came up missing, but what about Barbara also..she was just here and gone again, as was Diana. What gives with our POE crowd? |
