When the pictures go along the top sometimes I notice one which I had missed and comment on it, I was about to do that today but found it was one from Peter Evans, made me feel sad as we used to be e mail friends

Re the Pine fragrance Shirley

Just my dry sense of humor re the pine fragrance it should be bottled and used as and when required by the male species L.O.L.

I agree with you Neil..esp when they are washing the floors...smiles*Are you trying to tell me you like that "tree" smell"...I'll go for the fabric softener if I have to..it smells nicer...makes you all fluffy and looking overweight.

Good morning everyone...well day fro Washington has shut down, and shots are beginning to be detected more often...you know what

everyone is up set about...they shut down oour Parks, shut down and federally contolled web sites..all the ones we can't have in reguard to public information....anything at "street level" service jobs...but....BUT...newspaper says.....the 532 member of congress continue to be paid...at the rate of $10, 583,.83 an hour to taxpayers.

So what do they spend their time doing...not trying to stay on an budget...but politically "picking"on each other as to why there is no solution as of yet...which they tend to not see beyond needing more  money mostly to waste or no solutions either.Let  see how many crop up with new cars, trips, or something for Christmas. Since they let all thieir staffing go also..they without jobs, they are having to suffer most likely pouring their own coffee. Veteran's are pretty ansey right now also I might say...they tore down an couple of fences keeping an memeorial park closed. Back here in the city...our goofy Govenor isn't any better...we voted him in because we knew it was an cruel way to make him live with the state the way hemade it years ago...some of the ones that paid their own wages back then also, we tried to tell them back then we couldn't afford it...but he's gearing up for some tax hikes. No one has any money to pay for them naturally...but he's enthusied about it all, in complete" blissful" denial...and back in Portland...if they don't come up with an area for the homeless to be able to stay at on the streets...the city gets sued according to their own "rules and regulations" they signed here some weeks back about solving this problem....Say...isn't it an "grand" morning though?  Cold as all get out ... but sunny for an change. Say..where does an person go to when.... there no place to go to?

My best answer would be to "God" and let the church basements open up their doors, but some of the churches tried to do that and people were hollering that it was pleasant looking in their neighborhoods to let the people come in that had no place to go.So where do people go that have no where to go? They have no money either. They aren't criminals either until the police arrest them and throw them in jail for no money to pay their fines for getting arrested. It's not like they are drug dealers with fancy cars, houses and and whatnot else..or illegals that get free education and free medical services and free housing.. We just don' t know what to do with these people that have no money. I guess Jesus knew people that offered to help without being made to, like Lazarus...but that's not today's world. Maybe fiddo out back will let them sleep in his "dog house"..minus the fleas?

Anyway...I go to pick up my sister here pretty sooner for an overnight stay and maybe an movie I wanted her to see, that we bought recently. So I guess I should go for now.

This whole thing just is simply ridiculous around these parts any more...anyone ever listen to me...in the parks, grow the food, then in the parks, let them stay...in the back 20 acres (state parks)...where it's available....give them an time limit...so many weeks in one area, that generally would cover over winter time. Let them go to other parks after that maybe...just stay long enough they can't build up an mess in the parks...better yet, hire them to keep the area clean.Let them eat the growing food, have some free firewood, and an place to pitch an tent...and bathroom/shower facitlites at least.  Arewe so savage an world..we can't allow that...I hope not.

Evening everyone, we moved from our friends house today to a lovely flat in Padstow. There's no wi-fi so I'm now depending on either my dongle, the weak wi-fi connection from the unsecured network in the pub on the opposite side of the harbour, or the 3G on my phone, so if I vanish for a little while it's because I've been zapped.

The pub next door has a secure network so I might end up nipping in there with the iPad and getting their code, I prefer a secure network.

Have a good evening .
