We have three storms going to hit here by tomarrow starting, looking at the maps tonight...in the red/purple range for heavy rain...worse storms should be through here by Monday, but rain will be here through mid-next week....we are feeling good about our rivers being so low, to maybe hold back any flooding...depends though on what comes down the mountain ranges also.  They figure about 4 inches in the Portland area...up to 8 inches in the mountains. The scout hike for tomarrow morning was cancelled until next weekend.I bought two new flashilights today...and come to find out they only use one battery...first time for that one. I have to have an blood draw at the hospital tomarrow for my Lipid testing...so I best get myself into bed even if the highly ringing ears tonight from the air pressure changing id driving me bonkers. Hope our power  holds out and no damage to much going on...talk to everyone later one.

I've not been to Eastbourne in years, I remember it was very nice. As for Newquay, well I know it well enough, once had to go to the hospital there to get my finger stitched up. They made such a poor job of it I ended up having it operated on again a year later to repair what they'd messed up.

We've decided to set off to Cornwall a day early now, so we'll be leaving Monday afternoon after I've taken Mother to Tesco Smile
