Evening Vince, John seems to have got away with a £50 repair bill, let's hope it lasts.

Hi Ruth and good evening to yourself .

I hope so too, it just shows how we rely on all these things around us. Did you see the latest on the carbon monoxide thread?

enthe show with not to much problem...tonight they have to chose who goes into the finals next week....and I think they ought to keep all the people on the show last night...I see some real money makers in the future. We finally broke the cold snap of last week.  It's still not to warm, but it's above freezing now. We didn't get the freezing fog or the freerzing rain, thank God. I'm really winding down tonight withpains in my wrist and down my fingers from lifting/bagging groceries and making up deocrated plates of goodies today.  I still have stuff to do in the refrigerator also, like pears/apples and cheeses. So I go for now..I'm still hoping there'a an faint chance we can go and see something in the way of Christmas this year and not have it all work...and bam...good bye for another year.... Ugh!.

Afternoon James, I'm cooking again Frown But on the bright side all the shopping is done apart from the veg. I hate shopping at the best of times, but supermarkets near Christmas are a big no no.

Where are you going for Christmas ?

Where are all the females gone, I know Cathy ml is busy and I know of CathybE and SueB,  but where is Marjorie, Krissy, Diana, Ruth G, Rita, Stephanie, Urmimala, Gonul, Dolores, Barbara Shoemaker etc ???

still having problems with the LTp  I think when I did not pay for ccleaner they made a shambles of it after I closed it down because they keep asking me to pay to clean it, I tried the one which Dave kindly gave me but it just says page  unavailable so it will go in the shop when I can afford it  December is an expensive month.

Hi Peggy, what exactly is your laptop doing ? What make is it and what operating system are you running ? It might be something simple that needs doing that someone here can help with without taking it to a shop and it costing you a fortune Smile

I can't help you with Ccleaner though as I don't have it.

That is very odd Peggy are you sure you downloaded the FREE programme. I've been using it for years and it as a very stable troublefree programme. I can partly understand the link not connectiong that happens know and a gain. But if you just type 'Ccleaner' into google and go either FILEHIPPO or PIRIFORM websites and look for the free programme. Filehippo is a very trusted software site and Piriform is the manufacturer site
