Just seen pictures of all the damage the high tide did, apparently it was the worst here for 500 years, the lovely golden sands are now brown littered with debris, concrete slabs, wood, stones, the sea wall all broken, I wonder where the money will come from for the repairs and the clean-up,  and this is only one town, I hope the cost is not going on the council tax Cry

Nice to see you back with us Peggy, I assume PC is working again.

The damage is awful in Scarborough too, the cost of repair is due to run into millions, there is still a load of sand on the streets. It's going to take a while.

No pc is not good but am using the tablet.

Did you get any veg to eat while in Germany, because when we were touring around in Austria, Holland etc we did not see any veg, one night I asked for a salad I was given a plate of greenery nothing else, I then asked for some cheese, I ate a lot of cheese in those countries, I was glad to get home and have some veg

Peggy, not a sign of any veg, not a sign of anything that wasn't processed or out of a packet, food was dire. My daughter in law cannot cook, I love her, she has a really nice kitchen but nothing good ever comes out of it.
