Neil will correct me if I'm wrong but I think Lavender oil and Tea Tree oil are the only 2 essential oils that can be used directly on the skin without diluting in a carrier oil first, so you should be fine. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 03:02 on 8th December 2013 Hi Peggy...good to here from you and the worse is over with for now. Time to get back to things again...and nice to know you have an house that can't be flooded these days also. Today was an gals day out for me while the guys went on the Food drive. They picked up only 147 pounds though he said that they did much better with barrels at the local schools and then an day set aside for the food drive, which they don' thave going for them now for some reason. He was telling me that they don' t have enough people to cover my area on the streets any more. But they did get 147 pounds..far cry from the 750 pounds they use to get, but I noticed in the Toy Drives they were getting three times the food as they were the toys anyway. So it probably equals out over all. Sister an I went out for breakfast, stopped by an bakery and gift shop my mother's family is affliated with...got me an beautiful tea cup there and some blavaka and and chocolate reindeer cupcake...she got some things also...then we went and had breakfast in the resturant part...she took brac 30 percent off...so I loaded up in pretty glass plates again, because so many of them go out the door with food gifts. Got two for her...we were amazed at the prices today. They were busy also. While there I found and "Homedics" foot massager..with also an heat element to it for about one third of the current retail store price. I've been playing with that tonight. I've delivered some of the my food trays early this morning...but am tried from lack of sleep last night...but my grandson sure did think that my bed was groovy. He turned on the TV set, the electric fireplace, and the electric blanket and fell alseep immediately. I went in later that night and shut things off. Tossed another blanket over him and left. He was snoozing away like Rip Van winkle. Kids alway sslept better with parents also...they seem to have that smell of security to an little law is happy. I guess I better go, my ladder is defrosting right now so I can do the last 5 feet of the 12 foot livingroom tree. It was nice to hear from you Peggy...stay safe...all the rest of you also. Winter is just beginning. I think they said we get down to 6 degrees tonight....Minus degrees in many places, here and across the nation. Nice to have the firewood, we could stand to be planting more trees as they take time to grow you know. Have an good day! |

Third correction..kids always slept better in the parents beds...that smell of security to an little one makes them happy/contented. Have no idea whose working over my computer at the moment again..".morons". |

If not, this is probably why you have the problems that you do. A simple job like emptying the internet cache will help enormously if you don't do it, ask our and Rick and he will confirm it for you. His PC positively runs, rather than walking, after he did the same. As for the lavender oil I used to rub it on my head in summer, but could rarely get rid of the bees! lol |

I have a routine that I go through around once a fortnight to just clear out the rubbish that builds up, I only re-boot it about once every 2 to 3 weeks (I don't think you can get away with this with Windows they start having a hissy fit after a week). I also take it to Apple once a year for them to take it apart and clean out all the muck and fluff which laptops attract - this is a free service. It's nearly 7 years old and runs like a dream, in all this time it has not let me down once. I polish it a lot too which makes the family laugh |
