Well, I get to start it out this year with new reading glasses and sound devices for my ears it looks like. Tabloids are saying that" Kate and William" are going to have another baby...but didn't get an chance to read the details...if it's true. We generally on New Year's Eve eat Chinese food just so we can get those fortune cookies. Besides I like the fried shrimp and Chicken Chow Mein and bbq pork. Things are ending this year quietly with just hubby and I it looks like so far. Dates for the holidays were weird fallin gin the middle of the week like they did...work out better closer when it falls closer to the weekend. I have over 75 per cent of the decorations packed and an ready to go to the attic. I am not so sure about this Bernard Cromwell book with an archer lady named "Blackbird"...they say she aims her bow off balance to where she wants it to go, closes her eyes and makes an dead on hit. Hum. Over in earthboppin.net I asked an question that is still going on...anyone know of any 2014 predictions in astrology. Of course not meaning any "foo foo" stuff. We had hubby's birthday cake tonight with the kids and grandkids. My son looked so tired, hope he gets some sleep said he'd worked 14 hours in his two combined part time jobs. We went out and enjoyed an really good meal at "The Olive Garden" they just started an new food program. I had Garlic Roasted chicken with Rosemarry. I'm thawing out an company spiral ham for New Year's Day. I had quite the time trying to find hubby an birthday card, they were either mushy lovey little cards in denial of one's age, or else "funny" cards the were kind of sublime to say the least. I looked at one that said..this year's birthday lesson comes from the "moon" and it had an wheel you spinned on the side..as you spun it... up cropped an guy bareing his rear end...such as an cresent moon was the crack of an bare bottom, and an full moon was completely revealing the rear end...and then you opened the card and it saidyou did very well in Asstrology and another little guy says, you mean Asstronomy...we'd like to congratulate and wish you an Happy birthday. This is an major grocery store card rack. I didn' tthink he'd think the card was all that funny myself so didn't get it. Instead I got this card... Which starts off with an hot steaming cup of coffee...Wishing you a year full of ...good moods...good days...good conversations...good times...good food...good rest...and pretty much Good EVERYTHING....open the card and then you see two cups of coffee...and it says There's no better time then today to wish good things for you beginning with an HAPPY BIRTHDAY and everything it takes to make an very happy year. Then I signed ..your wifey...and my name. This has been day two looking for what I thought was an appropriate birthday card for him. I never thought it would be this hard with all the cards out there these days for sale. Gesh! Hang on to your bloomers and be prepared as the next several days are really bad ones astroglogically and is in an "window" of James Berkland's of lots of earth stresses from volcanoes, to earthquakes, to climate, to tides..to about everything. Hope it goes by with not much to talk about. We intutives are always there trying to lessen the worst of any dire circumstances for others. Sometimes we can do it, sometimes not....but.... Happy New Year! |
