Hubby came home early from work today and helped me with the Christmas stuff...thoughI had it all pretty well down, but not in boxes. My left arm hurts from going up that ladder to the 12 foot tree and hauling down about five ornamants at an time...for quite some time also. He just got done taking down the tree and putting it in it's box. So the room is pretty well ready for New Year's Day dinner. I don' tknow if I can stay awake tonight until midnight or not. WE had our yearly Chinese dinner with the fortune cookies...my fortune said to "Do something unusal tomarrow" and his said "You will never need to worry about an steady income". I think I'm ready on everything to start writing...got the extra reading glasses today, paper and pen also. I was looking for something to help decorate my livingroom/dining room ...going to be library also here pretty soon... for Valentine's Day...I often use the hardcover books I run into and I ususally buy an romance novel about this time of the year....and there it was in an red cover staring at me in the thrift shop..."Wicked Appetite"....so I bought it. Not quite like the title suggests...it's about three people and the stones that contain the seven dealy sins in them...ancient stones at that. One guy wants them, the lady can lead him to them, doesn' t know anything about them, and her protector, and guy she runs into apparently....would like to partake in some of them with her... for fun. I am though currently reading an Cromwell book so it's going to have to wait for an bit. I also ran into an metal sun dial..old type...and I've been wanting to make an pot with the stones in an design, that was the rave last year...so I bought it also. I seem to be stacking up lots to do this year so far. I best get going...I think I should maybe be unthawing some dinner rolls for tomarrow about right now. Hope all is going well, I thought people today were in an jovial mood...as if they are looking forward to an new year. Talk later on. |

Here's to 2014..let's hope it's an good and prosperous year for everyone! Good night.....ZZZZzzzzzz! |
