Drove past the River Mole in Cobham at luntime today and it was at about the bank level near the mill and there was already a mass of water on the flood plain just opposite the mill. Stay safe all of you good folk out there. |

I feel like I half way died this morning also...I have done this before when someone I knew died for some reason...and likewise was told it was my connection in life to them.. Anyway...I just ate my dinner by myself..something my hubby has done to me for an long time ..he says he's bringing in my granddaughter and, but he's easily taken enough time to eat out there with them today. In the meantime I have on my mind the things my cardiologist told me to do when I didn't feel well. So it looks like the start of the New Year for me has started out "crappy" to say the least..but I easily adjust to all situations most the time as it is. Christmas stuff it done now...all it needs is to be put up in the attic. There's things he does in that also that irriates me, he puts things in boxes so heavy hardly two people could lift them...let alone one...and always the breakable stuff While I put half that in palstic bags with ties on them so they are light and tell my grandson's they can ear $10 each if they help us. They are though for the most part light enough I can handle them on my own though for the most part. So..it's over and time to move on as they say..house is now also decorated for Valentine's Day this year now. I hear that Barbara Bush...forner first lady.. is in the hospital with an respitory problem. My dreams the last couple nights ago were law's recent death. By all rights I seldom dream.. as I go "Out of body" and watch what's going on with others instead. Usually thats to cure/stop an problem they could use some help with at times. I go for now. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:11 on 2nd January 2014 I'm kind of short and stout Richard...guess I could pour your tea for you...or check out Ron for the grouse. My last troubled post was on the same day that supposedly someone "Hacked" an new web site....".Fast Track?" ...it's like Face book or twitter....which they claim that the postings disappear mintues before any parents/authority can read the text. But they did this to the tune of the same exact number of people that took out "Target" stores in the recent past also...which leads me to another thing, they were showing on the news.. an young man "stuck" in Hondurus...he reied on his Target debit card to buy things while there, including his plane ticket, food, motel etc.... to find out that they had frozen his account. He had taken another account with him, but he had to answer three questions to activate the security in the card...one of them was where he owned property...being young...he didn't own any property...so he couldn't get it available to use. He had to wire home for help and leave 11 days earlier then he had planned. His advice..take back up "cahs" money...and then becareful of thieves. Back to the dicussion last night about this hacking and what makes an society fo kids not into older people these days...whcih they blame on the school educational system and how it teaches the young these days...not to mention the sexual abuse going on to the younger group. They have now taken it to the discrimination against older folks appparently. Not to befriend any, nor associate with them, or trust them and look upon them as shoving age to nursing homes. Kind of sad. Bad guidance..because it's been the younger teachers in school that have abused them as much as any old old guys...scholl system is lacking with folks these days over 50 years old in case you haven't noticed. I understand that the kids are also being told that there is no "future" dealing with an older person. But they sited that most all the TV hosts at one time were older people...like Art Linkletter, Johnny Carson, and others....and they feel that the patience they teach and to have inquiring minds and to live dcently were traits the older ones that were good people instilled in the younger set. Most older folks couldn't care in the least who the younger set talks to or what about..but if those younger ones should get abducted by someone, going to their recent postings.... may help to find them. So there are some real issues here that are not of the best making by the young ones for their own safety. For the most part I'm worried abou tthose still in school...others tend to be old enough to be "street smart" on the internet. I guess we need to ask our kids whom are their regular internet circle of friends and to leave thier email address should the paents find them missing someday....and need help locating them? Boston was supposedl to get 8 inches of snow last nght...no wonder our Diana SinClair hasn't showed up over the Holidays. If she's even still around in the area. Sunny and dry here..giving away to rain tonight and tomarrow...but we need it. Esp Mt. Hood (snow forcast)..they are still sking on green grass and at the edge of the glacier up there...and having quite some time trying to teach young kids how to ski...or ski lessons. I go for now..my grand-daughter here...and we have to go an buy her an new I-phone cord or some such today...she earned $10 for helping grandpa put away all the Christmas decorations last night. I would of been on my diet today, but we had pancakes for breakfast this morning. I made some sugar free apples last night and have pretty well worked the goodies out of the house for now...maybe by tomarrow... I'll start journaling everything I eat and do. Have an good day...will talk to you all later on. |
