I don' t think "football" is an English game from what I understand, but  my sister in law's friend had an brother played Canadian football on tv....we warched him play at her house one time on TV. Hispanics have pretty well seen to it that soccer has taken over the fields these days instead.  Lot of people have played football, including my son in high school...but for the most part by the time they are High School Juniors, they had better be college bound for an certain team to stay with it. Sports over here is highly competitive and highly expensive. I thought Englishmen were more into POLO playing....horsemanship and hunting. I'll stick with "Dancing with the Stars" if you don' t mind...and it's incrasing hard to get to see the show these days from my house for all the TV interference....and I'm hooked to cable...would you believe that one. All my kids have been into Baseball...from my hubby, to my son, to my grandkids.

am i the only person who don't like football?

have a good sunday

Pat, I'm with you and Dave, never watch it now, I used to in the 60's and 70's but not any more. In fact I don't watch any sport any more, everything's got too commercial and the participants are paid way too much.

Good day..watching hubby and the neighbor picking up some bruch he cleared out..hubby will probably go dump in the nursery burn pile for him...he' s in stage three cancer you know...he needs the help. I'm at the end of cooking that turkey to make Turkey Enchilata's with her soon, after the meat colls down and I can shred it.  Feeling sick to my stomach today...haven't had an thing to drink either...but still feel sickly.Ok, some "fella talk" going on now. It's OK..we ladies meet out there also an chit chat, and the joggers come by and chit chat with us. In short the whole neighborhood's out there as they walk and jog by visiting".

This morning finds me disagreeing with some of England's up dated genealogy..which now I have to take the time to discuss with Christopher and point it out.  What someone "says" doesn't change things with "God" by the way...it will come out in the wash as they say. He has very specific purposes for what happens in our lives rather we agree with it or not. In the meantime, they say some dude down in Santa Barbara, California went on an killing spree Friday night. He's not getting to far either...he at least saved us some money..from court preceedings and they said killed himself in the end...if he really did.  Just another power control issue going on.

We spent yesterday bark dusting the front and back yard...to me it's the best money spent for landscaping. Hubby is working on the fountain out back, and I'm painting Ms froggy's 2 piece bathsuit back on her again.  I lost her better half when someone broke him into bits and pieces but he was an cutie...in his swimming fins with his snorkel on, they sat by my pond and looked adorable. We miss him......now she's by an decorated bird bath...painted with wine grapes. This about concludes yard work for this year. For me, with the painting it took up about 19 days of May 2014 to accomplish...mostly by myself. I still have trees to cut, but first I have to find someone can move our camper out of the way...to the other side of the yard a,ong the house. Everyone I seem to know only has short box pickups. I go fo rnow..I can smell that Turkey through out the house today and it smells good flaoting through the air.
