I'm off fish, plus we've none left, and last weeks trip out of Rhyl got cancelled due to the weather Smile

I'm OK with the fish shop, but anything else I can't eat at the moment.

Good Day everyone...Richard..really mean to say" HI" the last time but I was so "ticked off" and sure enough...the "watcher's" as I call them, from church came out today to hand me two pamphlets....one of getting rid of stress ..the other on forgiving others. But I am telling the managers of all the retail stores I've been buying nursery stock from, and the grocery store...who have been with me all season in this planting. Shirely whom i san senior retired manager now...had one of the managers under her carry out my plants for me today, the grocery manager at winco when I took out the replacement plant was holding my groceries for me in his office also until I returned..bagged....and I just got an birthday gift card from Pier one imports for 15 per cent off anything in the store...on sale or not..with the plants I already have pirchased..they represent in my yard nearly every retail nursery store of pants in this whole town...major and local. I let the church kids come in to see my back yard today..and explained to them that the city would never let us have an Park in this area...my neighbor decided to join them and formed an organized Park service here in town...working toward our goal of having one. Thye told her "NO"...no tuntil every other park in town is taken care of first...that's when they built th enew grade school couple of blocks away...the ground that had been given to them by an resident here.. was half sold to an housing constrution..saying they needed the money to pay taxes on this ground. It sits in field to this day..hard to get into..for the fencing of the houses. They put in maybe some 30 houses worth around $300,000 up. Citzens won't pass an park system bond...because we feel th emoney isn't used correctly...just more to stick in thier pockets instead. We don' t care if we have golf courses and soccer fields in town...most of us are working so hard these days..we seldom get the time off to do stuff like that any more. When we get time off we like to go somewhere else for an change of pace. I asked an grade school kid what he thought of the new sports field in town, summer we go on vacatio0n and we aren't here to use it much...he said to me, it's not roofed for games, so you can' t use it year around and they shove sports down our necks in school to where we aren't interested outside of school much these days...we'd rather have an ATV dirt Bike path in the hills with ATV's we can rent if we can't buy them....and go up and down and around an biek path in it. But anyway...when my kid was little there were 23 kids in an two block area on both sides of me, and no school...my yard and our street was "the park" for them growing up.

So even now, my yard serves every generation from toddlers to the older ones, but not to steal things from us in the process. Plus having picnics with freinds. It's always been that way. I should have mature plants by now and some of the trees I do..but now they need ups apparently. Then perhaps we can rent the equiptment to get into the back yard and start on this project an bit. It will not be easy on Social Security/retirement only. But anyway..I'm calmed down enough I'm not cussing an blue streak any more...time being.Showers going through right now..I have maybe 2 or 3 weeks and they will be cleaning plants off the shelves at the stores for the rest of the season pretty much. That is the time and into fall when they should be pushing greenhouses and stuff for them in plants and maintaining them/seeds....and I can see why no one buys any fruit trees these days...most are in the $30 range and not one piece of fruit on the plant...in my day to buy an apple tree was to get it with lots of little apples growing in it..same for plums and peaches..so forth..so you looked like you were getting something for the price.Even if they would stick in an sample of  fruit tree spray it would help...at least for that first year....help keep th erust off the apple trees and the blight off the peach trees, and worms off the "Nut" trees and I've not seen them sell any of those at all here lately. Even the grocery stores each year are cutting back the type of produce they sell any more. Since the kids never have grown an garden...they have no idea what should be out there for produce.

realistic world these days. I fear for what the days ahead mean to us all...I see the world dead and east and unproductive..kind of like the other planets, dead an barren....because the future generations are shoved full of electronics....oil products... and not healthy producing food stuffs. Not good, in some ways the Native Americans are correct...try living off the land..it's hard these days.
