Well, hubby just helped me with the macaroni salad...by walking up behind me unexpectedly and grabbing my shoulder...down went the salad along with an pint of fresh blueberries. Everything on the floor. Getting thngs ready to paint the kid's decking someday..when it's not so hot out. I have an bit to do here also. My neighbors on the other side of me been hammering away on thier side..I see he put up an new deck behind their bedroom. He's going to make it an bit private with an fence on my side and that will be welcomed. Having ours, I can say it's nice to have an door open most the night in the summer, then just an couple of little windows, though she just bought air conditioning last year. But at any rate..it suits them I guess. I could use my decking with stairs again though. Nice today, but suppose to be hotter tomarrow, and we have to go over to the other side of Portland for medical testing with my brother, then come back here, maybe with the results midway through Portland...and finish it up with hubby's doctor appt. late in the afternoon. Soooo...it will be an busy day for everyone tomarrow it looks like. Hope it all goes smoothly. At least I can stay on my diet an bit better now.

I am almost back to normal now, walked up town to have Coffee with my two x workmates,

Then walked home and did the ironing, don't think Bern liked doing that much.

Evening everyone, late today, we've got the family here from Germany so it's a bit hectic at the moment. We've been to Bolton Abbey and Brimham Rocks today, lovely sunny day it was too.

We've been before a couple of years go, but we saw more of it this time and the visitor centre was open, it was winter when we went before and everything was shut.  It's very impressive, well worth a wander to see what shapes you can see in the rocks. My daughter in law was very impressed, I don't think the baby will remember much though at 4 months old Smile

Ron, he's always has done that to me, you know it's an "Art" with the  Native Americans...any "Scout".. to walk so quietly your never noticed.Which takes me by surprise. I don' t know what he wanted but what he got was to help with the clean up. They start teaching the younger boys this when they are young for hunting/tracking skills later on. They use to say to me, go stomping through the woods making an lot of noise.... and you'll never see any animals.

I get back from my brother's appointments with my hubby..his appt. comes here pretty soon...to find ants all over my kitchen counter...EQMary said to observe them before I do away with them...so I did,  they were dis-orientated"....so I went to the computer 6.9 quake mag. in southern Mexico, near the border...an deep one at that. Happened while we were on the road over to West Portland...having posting problems...lots of corrections just to get to the point you can barely read things..

Getting hot here today...also, my kitty took off her collar...now I have to buy her another faux "heart" to distinguish her from any other cat looking like her. I got 4 hours sleep last night from the heat, my feet went down an little, stay down if I stay off of them. I'm tired. So chat later on.
