All is well on the Costa today

A large fire broke out Sunday night just up the road had to be on standby to evacuate the horses from the yard.

Glad all that got sorted out in time then Neil. I assume it would have been a very frightening experience for the horses.

We're having a thunderstorm here at the moment, the rain is coming down like a tropical storm - just after I've watered everything Undecided

Well, sounds like everyone is doing good for today..yesterday was the hottest for as cool as they said it was weatherwise, I've ever felt.I fell asleep on the sofa and hubby let me sleep, went on to his doctor appointment by himself.. I woke up in an "sweat" bath...I had dinner waiting for him when he got home though...my Hawaiian burgers...cheese burgers with grilled pineapple rings on top and chili ketchup. Just got done checking out Japan's current cyclone, it moved an bit off toward the ocean, hope that's enough to calm it down an bit. My brother's next door neighbor is oriental..and he was an class mate of mine in school. I was telling him how pleassed I was at the work they've done to the Gresham sister city Janpanes Garden, small but nice and they always build in the maples that turn colors in the autum, with variant shades of evergreens. Guess I better get going, washing some clothing right now..hotter it gets the mmore clothing I seem to go through. Ruth, enjoy that family visiting at your house. Rest of you enjoy the summer. .Days are going to fast any more to suit me. I still made arrangements to an croquet game with my grandson before summer ends.

Not getting to much sleep these days, as if you couldn't tell by the spelling. Had problems yesterday with the posting too.

It's blue skies all round again here now. Glad to hear the hurricane has shifted course John, it must be a worry for you and Chris bearing in mind what happened in Japan before.
