Changing the subject, where is James ? he's not been here for a couple of days (not that I've seen anyway) he normally sends me a message if he's going away. Has anyone heard from him ?

Thanks John, I was just about to do that. He always emails me when he's going away, even if it's only for a couple of days to his daughters. Unless he's forgotten me of course Smile

Thanks John, I've just spotted it. I was thinking of you when I took it, but I wasn't quite sure what it was. It took an age to get it without people on the shot.

Afternoon everyone, having a busy one today, eldest son, his wife and 4 month old baby have just left to go back home to Germany. As they've gone our youngest daughter has gone into hospital and given birth to a new Grandson. Mother and baby are fine, father is an absolute wreck. It's all go today Smile

Congratulations Ruth, it will keep you busy,

We have been to West Bay , but found all the film crews there filming the next series of  Broadchurch Starring Nick Berry i think. it was just chaotic everywhere,

still we managed a walk.

Thanks John, Pat Smile

Fingers crossed John that the storm stays clear of where Nic is.

I've never heard of that programme Pat, mind you I'm not much of a TV watcher. Glad you got your walk in though.

Camp to help out there and the other one to Scout Camp with hubby="Grandpa"  third one we left behind get to share all week long..but not without the town parade starting tonight and "Mountain Festival" weekend going on, and small carnival also. We went to the kid's house last night to help prepare their long decking for painting. In the process got to see this year's new baby deer..they both are albino white deers..first one for that in color.. maybe because she had twins this year? I've already lost the top part of my posting. You get to guess what I said, besides that I'm really busy right now.  The kid's land lord made them take down thier kiddie pool that's 3 and 1/2 feet high because he cant' see it, and said without them being there all the time there's the danger of one of the smaller kids possibly drowning. He doenst want to be reliable. You know how mother's are today..they open the doors and the kids run with the pack. After today, it goes back up into the low 90/s also...for an solid week. Not good. We got ours up so I told the youngest one he could come to our house next week to cool off.  So it's shopping, and for some packing up for an week, and painting. the dam wind is blowing outside today also, so the yard needs watered I guess you know. I better get going I guess, or it all stays needing done until I'm there to do it.

On your laws on "bikes"....it's highly recommended to have one for emergency needs...you can pack an bike with about 150 pounds of equiptment if your car isn't working to evacuate in it very far...bikes thin tires lend well into paths in the forrest also, easier to string across an creek or river also, don' t take up much room comparison to other things. They fit well into boats also....unloaded....they can be ridden also. Tent on one side...canned food/medical supplies on the other side. Extra water also. Leave the extra seat for an kid or an cage with an pet in it if need be. I see this year they came out with folding nylon on metal frame tote wagons also for 69 dollars. Such things also make for good bathtubs for the little kids while camping. So do small inflatable boats. Cougar number two was spotted yesterday up near "Happy Valley" area, SE area of Portland...I wonder why they have left thier own territory.
