Picture of my homeland. Wales. Usually covered in cloud or rain, but I love waking up in the morning and looking out the window, and seing MOUNTAINS. Not just the houses across the road.

I am always seeing reference to Wales in my family history notes, with the Martin/Larkins and always wondered what it was like, most the information I've done  so far has been around the stones at Stonehedge taken from Whales to Stonehedge.  I'm rather thinking that anything with "quartz crystal" played an important part of history, but they had the real gem stones back then and they felt an "power" to them that many don't these days. In fact many these days are getting to be "lab" created. Tell us more more about your homeland when you can.

Its not only quartz that emits a power. The stones in the stone circles emit a power that can be felt.

I am not very well up on the history of Wales, but if you like I can email you what I know about Wales Shirley. Just let me know if you want me to.

Thanks Wolf. That first one reminded me of my grandad. He used to tke the dog for walks up the mountain right up till he was 100 years old. He even looked like my grandad.

Here is a picture that reminds me of my growing up years. We were lucky enough to have a few achres of land, but this allotment picture still remind me of our 'garden'.

I had never heard of allotments until recently.  I'm guessing they're like community gardens or something like that.  Are they only for people who don't have big enough yards for a garden?

I think they are for anyone who wants more land to cultivate.

You pay for your allotment of course. I'm not sure if you pay for a community garden.
