Oh dear Stephanie, I’m glad it wasn’t just my wedding day that was a disaster, mine was actually much worse than I said earlier, when I arrived at the hair dressers that morning the roof had blown off in the night during the gales, they still agreed to do my hair and make up because I was a bride, while the stylist was blow drying my hair amongst the rubble the power blew,  I had to run across the road with a towel on my head to another salon that had been kind enough to let us borrow a chair in their salon. The make up artist then used make up on me that I was allergic to, by the time I arrived home my eyes were red and swollen, I looked a mess. My family all left for the church without helping me on with the veil, I had to try and fix it in place myself, which is probably why it blew off. My mother refused to be on any photos and had an argument with the photographer before walking off in a huff, hubbys father refused to attend the reception because of a family argument and chose to sit in the car park the entire time. The evening was no better, I got very drunk had a huge argument with my new husband and spent the night in the loo being very ill. Still, almost 25 years on I can almost laugh about it all. Laughing

Here's a little Donna Nook creature - one of my all time favorites on POE. What a cool name for a town.  Was Donna Nook some historical person, Lyn?
