I was distracted by travel during the July 4th holiday (where we celebrate our independence from (he-hem) England.) The irony. And since then work has gotten in the way of this very enjoyable pastime of POE. Cathy, Mick, Ron and James, thank you for the very interesting cultural notes! Ha ha! You are cracking me up. I'm a little scared of whatever tripe might be. Makes me think of mud... Rob, Your kids are in Ohio. Small world indeed! Isn't it funny, I am in Los Angeles talking to you in Michigan on an England website about our connection to Ohio. Crazy. And your description of driving in Detroit traffic is awesome. I like "stick shift" too. Dave, it's true, I will be driving a "proper" car in England. Did you do a post for your trip? I'm having a little trouble finding it. And a little confused how to navigate the site. For instance, it seems like I should be able to click on your name and see your latest post in the order that you posted it I would think. Maybe it doesn't work that way. Just looking for your latest pics...

Just look for Dave's name next the photos and you will see what he has been seeing in the Lake District. |
