Snow  snow.gif .

Drove home (150 miles) in snow (high elevations), and heavy rain. No fun whatsoever!

Hi Urmi and all...

It was the first time that I had even seen grapes from India on sale here Urmi but yes they were sweet. That said they didn't match the quality of the South African grapes, which I personally think are the very best!

Weather here in Oxford, England......beautiful! Blue sky, no clouds and the strawberries are on the turn. Maybe we should plant a vine or two?

Issued by The National Weather Service
Phoenix, AZ
2:29 pm MST, Sun., Jun. 6, 2010

... EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST MONDAY...

AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST MONDAY.

* AFFECTED AREA: THE SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA DESERTS IN MARICOPA COUNTY AND NORTHWEST... AND NORTH-CENTRAL PINAL COUNTY. THIS INCLUDES THE GREATER PHOENIX METROPOLITAN AREA... GILA BEND AND CASA GRANDE.

* TEMPERATURES: VERY HOT DAYTIME TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 109 TO 112 DEGREES CAN BE EXPECTED SUNDAY AND MONDAY AFTERNOON.

That's tomorrow's forecast.  Needless to say, it's very sunny.  We had to push our thermostat up to about 80 today to give the poor air conditioner even the hint of a chance of turning off once in a while.
