Yesterday 3 peolpe were struck by lghtening all were holding unbrellas at Lowestoft Air Show,   Today the forecast is heavy rain but at present we have had none whatsoever.

Ruth how can you tolerate that heat, I like a sunny day in the late 70f, when it was in the 80s far too hot even at the seaside.

Blue sky today here in Oxford but windy with temperature about 22 degree's. Weve had the rain to keep the garden going for a couple of days but funny how the weeds grow faster than everything else!

Been a typical August day here in Oxford but things are about to change it seems. Storms are likely to affect south east and Midlands. Apparently something like 3 inches of rain in the early hours.

We had a pretty decent thunder storm last night. Thankfully, we also had rain, so no fires.

We are heading into a bit of early Autumn weather, unusual for August. Then we'll be back up into the 90's.

It absolutely sluiced it down from Scunthorpe to Oxford today, with road visibility on the M1 down to 50 yards!

Tonight(19:15) we have a blue sky with light wind, that's beautiful England!

Beautiful down here in Devon too.  We have had lovely sunshine since about 15.00 (although it was pretty wet this morning), and the sun is still shining now at 19.45.  I wonder what tomorrow will bring ... it is very changeable at the moment!

It's been rainy for the last two days with a good thunderstorm yesterday. The humidity is horrible! The temp is average but the humidity is what stinks! I swear I will have mushrooms growing out of my carpet soon. It took a good 3 hours for my hair to completely dry today!!

Heavy rain this morning and strong wind the whole day. Looks more like autumn rather then summer.
