Sue---When you visit Oxford, you aren't all that far from where I live to the south of it.

Where would that be then, Paul?

West Berkshire, just north of the North Hampshire border; a bit to the east of the Wiltshire border, and a bit south of the Oxfordshire border, and within this few miles radius of less than 10 miles, all these counties have their different characteristics, though all you mentioned is here nearby in West Berkshire.

You're welcome Sue. A nearby place name that might be more familiar to our US friends is Watership Down, as it's author, Mr Adams, was brought up around here, and a walk along it will soon bring you to Mr Lloyd-Webber's very nice country home on his large estate next to it. Yep, there really is a Nuthangar Farm at Watership Down.

Just for you MG (6' 2" and I weigh 21 stone!!). That's six feet two inches for those who have forgotten imperial measurement, but don't tell anybody else will you.

Every mornin' at the forum you could see him arrive,

He stood six foot two, weighed two ninety-five.

He was broad at the shoulder, kinda narrow at the hip,

And everyone knew they didn't give no lip to Big Ron. Smile
