Very commendable and I will sign it in a flash, but it's the obnoxious Tony Blair that should have been hounded out of office long before he swanned off leaving this mess behind. Talk about slamming the stable door!Frown

I didn't punctuate the sentence because I didn't know if it was a statement or a question.  Do they have any voter initiatives or propositons that make it to the ballot over there?

Hi Lyn:  It happens mostly at the local level - city, county or state where a group of citizens can circulate a petition and if they get the required no. of signatures, it can become a ballot initiative and can be passed directly by the voters, without having to go thru a legislative body. Sometimes it works well, but some of the measures that have been passed this way have been really boneheaded.
