We did the blackberry picking thing this morning...still rather need to wait an bit so they are riper...it was an lot of walking to do this morning. I told sis..if she'd get her golden age pass to go fishing..we could tackle that an bit after picking the blackberries. She wasn' t in her prime health when I picked her up last night...she has her good days and bad days like the rest of us do. I'm working on getting my canners ready here soon..it rained an bit this morning. I thought you guys "knew" about the cat "Garfield" and his friend named "Shirley"....I cut out an cartoon with him sitting out in front of an house in the fountain with an bowl over his head saying..."That Shirley...does she ever know how to throw an party!"...silly grin on his face. Did you get your house sold this morning Cathyml?...I feel like we are back again with Stephanie...I do see there is an restruant for sale in the Milwaukee area..said it comes "complete" and ready to go for $39,000...must be an "mom and pop" type affair. Perhaps an donut shop? ...fry bread haven? I think maybe the best I could do right now would be the morning at an Bed and Beakfast Inn maybe. Which reminds me...I have "Wild Blueberry" muffins to make here soon also...never enough time when I'm playing "Susie Homemaker"...I would if our "Sue" has these kind of days. Best tottle along me thinks...and good to see Marjorie and Shaun....come on back more often. |

I told them one time they should be glad I'm so "compassionate" when I bait that line....cause I swear seeing that worm rolling in agony makes me want to cry at times. Hey...I know they have feelings.... even if the guys don't. Yes siree...I do! I picked up an Backhome Woods magazine recently and what's it got in it...how to use beads to make fishing lures....I might try that one out over this winter. Just to work back into the fishing scene someday. |

Totally out of season and as unusual as a rooster laying an egg we have had a thunderstorm and rain and we just booted the computers up again and it's on its way back. So it looks as though I won't be able to join you all tonight. But have fun and enjoy yourselves. Hopefully will catch up tomorrow!!

I'm ready guys...I finished the freezer...some on the pantry...got some of the canning jars ready....just came back from the store with the fixings for an new diet to try out. Feeling witchy though...hubby is creeping around out of my sight to stay away from me right now. My ears been pulsing with an sound most all today...bothers me. I didn't sleep last night...you know I got to thinking over everything from the post on the gal turning her daughter into the police and it seemed from my son's High School years on we started going through hell one month to the next for several years...like an pin-ball machine. I think trying to endure it all was the cause of my heart problems maybe.....I know it didnt' give me anything out of life worth having and still hasn't...it makes me sad, bad and bitchy to say the least. Makes you want to stand on the hill like an wizzard and toss out lightening bolts off every direction. So this morning...I'm tired from not sleeping last night. I went shopping...I mean that's an cure all if ever there was one...heh? I walked into Target Store....remodeling the store....everything on sale in the shoe dept..some to the tune of 75 per cent off...took me forever to find an comfortable pair...foot doctor says....if they don't feel "right "when you first put them on....don't buy them, they aren't getting any better down the line. I finally found an pair...took it up to the checkout stand...lady says says they are regular price and I said nothing back there is "regular price"... you can keep them. She looked surprised at me and kept them. I walked out...went to Payless Shoes here in town, got an nearly identical pair, plus an second pair half price and still had enough money for an stop at McDonalds for lunch on the way back home...in comparison to the one pair at Target....and I ususally like the clothes as Target. So this getting ready for "winter" is slowly coming around now. I leftjust enough rrom in the freezer that I can imbibe in the Thanksgiving Turkey Sales maybe...othewise can not spend an dime for the next three moinths in order to pay "property taxes" on my house here...which I was told was being put "aside" way back when...an lie. Springing these little "revelations" on me is what gets me real " witchy" in no time. Thnkas to Govenor Kitenharber keeping our kicker checks...and over payment of our taxes he legally can't do,,,I will have no Christmas this year...and wish him many more the same out of his kindness. But whom knows...will we make it past Oct. 28th....the REAL end of the Mayan Calendar?......will Holloween see us having an End-Life Extention Event on planet earth?....stay tuned. I go for now....this is "mouthy"...signing out for today...wearing her "new" shoes too! |
