Hey...when hubby has the time off...what's he doing?....well, this weekend he's climbing the lower area of "the sisters" with our Club Scout master for an "end of the summer" hike. Now it can't be any worse or harder then what he's asked to do around here. I get my choice...come and stay in the motel the entire time wating fo rhim to come back, or don't go at all. With my feet swelling last night it might be don't go  at all. Besides...been there and done that already. When you get up halfway....you slide down an couple of feet for every step you take...then you crest over the mound where most people stay for th enigth before going to the top the next day. I heard they still had snow up the top yet. Such are the fellas....

Hubby called off the hike...storms going through the area.....and my son went through the area yesterday and says "yes" it's still got snow half way down it. They decided to take the boat out next weekend or so. So they through in all th elife jackets last night and looked things over. Don't knwo what we will do this weekend...I'm still trying to prepare for winter an bit. Rain over there is good for wetting things down for firewood hunting.
