Spent today taking lots of photographs, tomorrow will probably do some washing and urgh ironing (if I can't get out of it!). Then I must start trying to sort things out for packing. (How I hate the thought of that - it is about the 17 or 18 times we have moved - and I've had it up to here - (fingers across throat, lol)) |

Back to the stone on Tuesday. I actually had a jury summons for Tuesday, but I called the juror phone number and I don't have to report, thank God. I always seem to get picked - I've already been on 4 juries. I dread what my desk looks like at work, since my last day before vacation was a week ago Wednesday. Although I did slog thru my work emails day before yesterday. I spent most of yesterday sorting pix from my trip and loading them on to Photobucket (that's photo-boo-kay). Here are POSF if you're interested. http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/ff328/ruthyg_photos/San%20Francisco/

My hubby doesn't need a week in Alcatraz because he has me, the old ball and chain. lol Yes, Alcatraz is a very weird place - they housed the worst of the worst. SF is a very chilly city, and there's no heat in the building, but the inmates got a bed, medical care and 3 squares a day. They ended up closing it due to the astronomical costs associated with O & M. The tour was really interesting, but a bit unsettling at the same time.
