Sooo..we worked around here doing odd little things that needed done we said we do when we had an chance.... got some fall flowers, an new outside patio brroom, cat collar, my indoor greens for this winter "seeds"...and some cat flea and tick medicine, and some Duramycin-10 for the animals over winter...it's an antibiotic...I've used it for all my animals before, it helps pick up their health in seasonal changes and in times of extreme weather changes. You put it in their drinking water. Use to really pick up my rabbits health in 24 hours. You use about 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon in an big bowl of water. It's got tetracycline Hydrocloride. Besides all this, I made some Sarah Lee cinnamon rolls...they puffed up into monsters too! We have been munching on them all day long...wiht coffee. Then we decided to do just the opposite of what we were going to do...and went to the Mt. Angel "Octoberfest"...first year didn't make it to the church, BUT...we may not be done there as of yet. I imagine by tonight the town is clicking beer steins and the music is playing and the crowd is dancing. We went to the senior citzens shop because it closes early...buyng something there, ususally helps keep it functioning. I found these cute little brilliant colored dice in an braclet, so bought them for my sister, she plays "Rubix Cube" with some church ladies, then got her an hand towel made into an angel..she was really hinting yesterday she'd like to go somewhere also...anyway before we got to her apartment, I stopped by Alberstons and got her some BartlettePears, fat-reduced Cheddar cheese and light crackers, to go with her other gifts and we dropped them off. My feet were starting to swell on me...by the time we got back to our house. I have an blister on my heel. So I went tonight to buy me some different shoes. In the process I come across this lady that needed an second look, she was the tallest thing I've seen in some time, wearing I bet 7 inch heels. She was definately looking like I heard one time referred to as an... LLBT Sandwich... by some guys (Long-legged bed thrasher) My guess is she was about 6'5" or better....I twisted my ankle in the process...so I hobbled into the shoe store and sat down while I tried on shoes with "great" clearance prices, and bought me an pair...I'm now home eating pizza. At the Octoberfest I came across some things that took my eye...one was all these currency coins from every nation in the world made into pendenat necklaces...about $35, some higher. A small wood pellet stove...small enough you could put it in your kitchen up high...I've been thinking about that ever since the electric company explained to me to save money never heat an oven if you can get out of it...use your microwave to cook with.. It has on both sides of it two self-feeding pellet holders with an top you can setsoemthing on next to the fire for keeping your hot , the litle stove came complete with everything, including flue and chinmey pipe an dstove for $350..I saw there also, tea pot warmers, made out of quilted material, that wrapped around them and tied, and besides keeping your water warm, you didn't need an hot plate under the pot. Cute little people around an Christmas Tree...you picked as many people as there were in your family and they personailzed them with the names. My hubby took off before I could buy some left over soap pieces from an hand-made soap vendor. Small bar, but were only $1.00....would of made good stocking stuffers. Few other offerings, but my feet gave out on me..... I'll enjoy getting off them for an bit to night. It's been an day anyway. Tomarrow is the Salmon Feed at the coast...if we get there... depends on what we do decide to do. So goes for the start of the weekend. |
