They try to do that after their tour of duty Sue..get them closer to home base...seems like time has gone quickly since you told us he was leaving for duty in the military.

Ron...after Christmas we have two weekends of Scout " tree recycling".... so it takes us time to get stuff put away usually....sometimes all year long!!!... lol.

I'm tired this monring and feel like going back to bed to rest some more. ..Mondays are like that for me...reading that Prince Harry is over here undergoing some military training...took an break..three nights in Vegas..he took an motorcycle to get there and then went on to LA and Universal Studio's for an tour of it....did all the rides while there...one twice.. won an stuffed animal  at some arcade games...and gave it to an little child. Enjoyed himself for an few days from the training for the most part.

I guess I return shortly....I'm going back to snuggle under an blanket. Take an short rest myself from this hectic last several days. Talk later.

Hi everyone!  Popping in quickly just to greet you all and wish you a wonderful day as the clouds are building up rapidly and it looks as though we may be in for a storm!!  I hope not - but we will see.

Hope to catch you all in the forums later Smile

I hope all those storms are not ruining our fruit CathyML?

The best fruit always comes from SA to England!

You are so right Ron - and we get the windfalls at about the same price as you get the best fruit!!  I couldn't believe the lovely SA fruit in England, we never see it here! (Unless we grow it ourselves!)

Good morning!...yes, my sister called and reminded me she left an bag of apples here that was sent home via my hubby the other day..and they look  nearly ripe also. Things are startin gto take shape now and the livingroom looking an "comfortable and inviting" Christmas to it. One where with an fire..makes you feel "homey" to be here. I washed the wood flooring I do have right now this morning to make ready for the Christmas tree here soon. Out of the next 7 days here...only two over freezing temperatures. Time for the Hot chocolate..sniff of brandy or some such to warm the "spirits" up an wee bit. Tonight is an Scout night and that means an busy day to make sure dinner id prepared early on top of all the other things...I think the POE cards "stateside" will be going out today and the others tomarrow perhaps...they require UPS sending. So I go now and everyone enjoy your day and make the best of it....Cathyml...with all those storms in your area..is that why they made the long silvery "rain" stuff (Icicles) ... to hang on some Christmas people's trees??? ...chases the storms away. Have an good day everyone,,,my floors are about to get "Murphy-ized" with an light swipe of Murphy';s oil....just enough to make them shine for the Holdiays. Murphy's are both my hubby's through the Hill m. Lawson maternal side and my mother"s maternall side...through the Larkins m. Murphy's.  I also found what has to be our John Lawson as Lt. John Lawson...one married "Sukey"... (Susie).  There were quite an few "Gist" family there also...and they intermarrried with them. Later everyone..got lots to do!!!
