Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 20:31 on 2nd December 2011 I suppose I should be at the church bazzar, but it's on going tomarrow also...while the guy's are doing the Food Donation program in Scouts, maybe?....and I have hubby off for an bit before the Christmas tree recycle gets started after Christmas. How are things going for everyone?....I hear Occupy Portland is out on an march tonight and going to try to find an new park to set up an camp in. Cold out there....but I guess they are homeless anyway...or so they say. Seems like there's three different groups..one is the homeless group...another is an trouble maker few...and the group behind it are college students and older folks and those concerned about our Consititutional rights....which we lost in 9/11 for the most part onward. Was that planned...perhaps...to take our mind off an economy no one knew what do with other then make cuts and the boys at the top were not into doing that....they wanted to much profit in anyway they could get it at the time. They declared an kind of an "war" on the citizens way before we got into into Iraq. They clinched it up an day or so ago by saying they can detain any citzen they want without an trial or reason for doing it...all they have to yell is..".terrorist"..rather the people really are or not. I hope "occupy" groups all over understand the possible "hell" they may be facing if these militant goonies come after them...supposedly representing society. They said when GW Bush built his new "huge" house after leaving office that he put up an huge fence with barbed wire at the top of it. He may indeed have some kind of fistish about being persecuted or doing it to others. We don't need that here...and it does need stopped...if it spreads out and about....it's like undermining anything "good and decent" in life. We have so many other ways to persue "security".... and do it without the " miltary" aspect to it all. Everyone speaks about the "end days"...well...I'm going to say this...in reference to the bible...people have to allow it to happen...by thier own actions...no excuses. One bible commentator said...reading the passages of the end days...that they will be perilous times of great stress and troubles and hard for people to deal with and bear. People will be lovers of the self...self-centered....lovers of money...with an underlaying greedy desire in all they do...they will be proud and arrogant..boasters...they will scoff others, be disobediant to parents, ungrateful, unholy, and profane. They will be without human affection, ruthless, admitting no truce, slanderous, short tempered, and loose im morals and in conduct, uncontolled, and fierce. Lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more then and rather then.... lovers of God. (Good). All the things above have plagued mankind through ALL the ages...because you see...it is mankind that follows the dictates of irresponsabilty in himself, aided by others many times...mankind allows them to come into his life. I guess that is why many say...start with yourself...and your own home and spread out goodness in the world. Kind of an bit of an Christmas message in an way I guess for this season to improve ourselves. Doesn't cost an thing either. At the very least an good reminder of what we shouldn't be. I go for now. Have an good day everyone! |
