Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 19:12 on 6th January 2012 I'm sorry ..your correct...it's become "piggy politics" instead of dirty politics these days. Bad either way..I call this the "era" of false promises and truth....before the second coming of Christ...if he is still recongnized by then. I'm here this morning to forwarn you people that like to share your money about one Jamal Lawson. He's currently being indicted for $300,000 worth of money fraud in Chicago of soliciting funds from about 30 churches, in several states.. Oregon one of them... solictiing additional funds for mortgage loans...that they say he never intended to give in the first place. As an Lawson, this person caught my eye long ago, because he's relatively "unheard of" in the family so far. I wondered if he could be an name change person. We do or did have an Jerry Lawson from Sandy that was constantly being confused with my hubby...though he is considerably older...he has an bad reputation of indebtness also...where he is at now I have no idea...I've not heard of him for some time in Sandy. My hubby first was brought to his attention by an collection agency suing him for an "paternity" suit. At the time my hubby was then my boyfriend.. of about 15 years old. We were required to get that one straightened out. Over the years they have caused us to cancel our Sears credit card.....and our Reader's Digest subscription... from getting their bills to pay... this Jerry Lawson from Sandy was an real estate salesman...and probably would know how to do something as this Jamal Lawson is being accused of...the last time I saw his name mentioned..Jamal Lawson...it was being the main promoter of the "Oregon Garden's" fouth of July festivities last year down by Silverton, Oregon. That is no small time thing. There is only for the elders now in our Lawson family my husband and his brother Tom, back east.. left in our direct family. All these other people are new people on the block I think..or an younger generation of other Lawson's...we have no "Jamal" in our line here or that I know of back east. There is an third Jerry Lawson though that is an president of some carpenter's/contractor's union or such, but have not heard of him around here in ages. Anyway..beware of whom your helping your dollars with this year. Once again..Chicago is known drug cartel land...and Salem and surroundings areas (which includes Silverton) are known for it's large Hispanic concentrations...drug related problems. The Sandy Lawson's like to "bank" on thier prestige in an false manner...I noticed after my kid's married they moved just north of the church where they were married... named after my material Reed/Read line...and have since moved. That person came in one time to Boston Market, when I was working there. and handed me their geneaology information which I was never able to link to what family they really belonged to then...since then the County Police took over the church supposedly as an meeting and co-ordination center for investigation in the outter Multnomah County area. An very old "ex" Governor named Tom Macal(long time deceased now)... mother was an Dororthy Lawson McCall... that is about the only older family Lawson's in this state I know of with the last Lawson surname and most of them were not " locals" here as I grew up. So with that... I go for now. It is foggy out this morning. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 18:51 on 7th January 2012 Yes Ron.... that's why we have the dishonesty going on these days..people have tuned into themselves more so.. and our creator made us dependent upon each other..so no one gets nowhere trufully in the end any more...world seems pretty cold hearted and slighted at times. On the good side...after an brisk rain overnight...and very warm temperatures....I took an morning walk and everyone returned to the tree recycle. So far they have made $600...and I'd rather this then the door to door selling that few people have the time for these days. Some guy down in Portland took up an new business...one that is most worthy...neighborhood "soup" delivery on the back of an bycycle. He will come to your door pulling an small warmed cart with an variety of soups to purchase...each container easily holds enough for two bowls or so....all homeamde and fresh..and hardy. You can also buy them from him... as he goes down the street... and they look pretty good on an cold rainy day outside...or just in general. Do wish him much success. Like Voodoo donuts these easy simple ideas usually go over pretty good these days. Thinking about getting back into the "Painting" that I didn't get done last summer also...just have an few small areas that didn't get done then and next the flooring. I so wish I could do this and get it over with for awhile...I realize my doctor si so totally corect about it beign easier on me on the upkeep. The carpeting is beyond cleaning any more...it needs replaced. I wish I had hardwood floors under the carpeting but they don't do that any more you know...kind of left with the 50's era. When we did the bedrooms two summers ago..we had to lay down special moisture foundation material and then the new carpeting was sealed on it's backing to retard mositure also. But will see how things go. WE arent' seemingly having any winter so far this year much..and hope the rain stays normal...been to many dry years. It's snowing up at Mt. Hood...but have to keep cooler temperatures or we wont' have any drinking water this summer. I don't know if the snow level pack is about normal or not..ususally our worse weather comes late January into February...if we get snow. I better go for now, I have two of the grandkids today and are watching them while the kids, my son an his wife and one grandson went to help grandpa load trees and get rid of them...I still have an "Pink" flocked tree in an plastic bag out in my front yard..but they'll come and get it most likely after they dump off the orignal load. Have an good weekend everyone. I took an wonderful warm fresh air stroll this morning. It helped to revuvinate my soul level. (Smiles) |
