Say...they said that bigfoots will not let people get ahold of them out of fear of getting killed...so they will just hide out in another deminsion and keep mining the earth and making underwater "bases" to live in. They are offended that we find them scary and repulsive and say they look the way they do to be able to adapt to earth climate and surive here. So much for that one I guess. A couple of thousands of years ago we looked similiar to them now. So goes for that show.

I get to go out and stay with my grandkids tonight to get them off to school in the morning. Just waking up that early ought to be an revelation in my book these days... I continue sipping on my coffee.

Are people in England doing anything  particualrly spectacular for the Olympics over there this year....you know...like planting roses in tubs  with an Btitish flag along the main sidewalks and having "fireworks" or such...you probably will be swamped with tourists you know. We got an chance on the news the other day to see some of the buildings being put up right now for the event.

Hi everyone, hope you are having a wonderful day

I was lucky last night there was no storm, but the clouds are building rapidly now and it is getting darker, so thought I had better pop in quickly and say hi before I have to switch everything off again!

Hope to see you later, with any luck!

Africa always have thunderstorms like that all the time Catheryn? I guess it's better then the 1 to 4 inches of snow predicted here from Sunday through Monday coming up. Have to go shopping for that one so I don' t have to go out much in the snow..depends on what kind it is I guess.... How easy it is to travel  in it.

They said this year would be an series of "roller coaster" rides..it depends if your in the ride.. or observing it....that was this morning with the kids...they had to catch the bus at an certain time...15 minutes prior...the youngest decided to take out his hermit crabs to hold before heading out....well one crawled out and decided to pinch him and hang on..so starts the roller coaster ride...he was running around screaming.. it provided for instant " chaos" around there...my other grandson grabs him and takes him to the bathroom with me at his side and tells him to turn the water on..he'd let go if he turned the water on...well, when it got hot enough...he let go ok...in the meantime it is now 10 mins to time to leave for the bus....grandson says he dropped an another hermit crab.. and he's crying wanting to look for the hermit crab...I like can't believe such an little "shell" could make for so much panimonium...I tell the grandson, I'd stay there an look for the crab...forget about it and head out to the bus stop...my other grandson.. rather upset from all this calls his dad...who gets all upset and tells him to look for the hermit crab, which he obviously can't do because the bus is coming....I tell daddy...hush up, you  got your son crying, I'm staying an looking for the crab for an bit...and hung up...well, both grandson's bordered that bus looking like they'd been through  proverbial hell this morning on their "roller coast ride of 2012...I can imagine them crying at school..... as they told their teacher...if they did. I went back the house and moved things around and picked things up, let the dogs out and never saw the crab...I left. Called back at  4 pm and they had found it under thier diningroom table headed to it's cage on it's own...happy they were proud of it.  Isn't it nice when the roller coaster ride stops. What really got me was the look of appreication as I left with the three dogs they have. Bell, took the night to sleep at my feet, we are the best of old friends you know...but she got what she wanted...out to roam around an go to the bathroom..plus an doggie bone...and I took the time to talk to her an love and hug her an bit....Baily got what she wanted also, being outside, and an small bowl of doggie food and water...and little toby dog...he got outside also, his toys picked up and brought in the house so he could romp around with them, we played a little bit....plus an doggie bone...and I left them with the radio on so it wasn't such an dead silent house all day...they could hear music and people talking...and I opened up the blinds to let the sun come into the room full strength, where they could lay down in it...turned down the heat 5 degrees so they could breathe easier...gave them all hugs and left them at the door "smiling" at me. I don' t know how mommy and daddy is doing... but its time the roller coaster ride stoped for them also. I came home an slept most the afternoon as I stayed upuntil 2 am listening to my talk radio station and they woke me up at 6 am. Got an couple of hours or reading my book in last night also.Tomarrow, its to the grocery store before this bad weather set in.

Hope your all having an good day...don't let it be an roller coaster ride!!!..smiles*

Another huge waste of Taxpayers money as far as I am concerned Shirley and I haven't the slightest interest as James says.

They already have an excuse for all the new buildings, but seem not to want to address the fact......we need more homes for our immigrants!

Are you sure what you really meant was you need an way they can help themselves build thier own homes?....but say...your on an island..how many "immigrants" can your island sustain comfortably?

We are absoutely "swamped" with our immigrants here...a little birth control would go an long ways to making their lives better here as well as thier own country where they originated from to begin with. New thing proposed over here is allowing the Government to despense marjiana like they do liquor..I would think to control the drug cartel perhaps. or mind people out of the economic reality in the world... I'm against that...as I see it going into the hands of the kids of those parents that would buy it eventually...more child prostituion in the future days and abuse.  We have in our daily newspaper..."Developements in the Middle East" column..it says for Yemen...Activists called for a nationwide ban on Khat..a leafy narcotic whose use is ubiquitous in the country...and whose mild high many activists blame for Yemen's inabilty to prosper. I have no idea what khat is or if an equal to marijuana...I hope the politicans out there are listening...protests can cause many an social upheaveal...but in this case its well warranted. "Hushing up" about it is denying the real issue of solving of solving our problems...but this time your not hearing that from me....but others that see for what it really is...trouble in the making Ron.

Hi Everyone - hope you are having a wonderful day/evening.

Shirley we tend to get a lot of thunderstorms in the summer months on the Highveld. That doesn't apply to everywhere in South Africa - or Africa.
