Guys are doing pretty good on the tree re-cycle about $300 an day so far...but tomarow is their last day...they only do it two weekends per year. Took my grand-daughter out to McDonalds to use up the rest of her gift card today. Not an whole lot, but still ended up tired. I guess it was pureeing all the food stuff maybe..instead oif popping open cans.. Both boys stayed overnight, in bed now and alseep and they have an last day of work tomarrow in teh recycling. Lot of people out today for some reason...took you forever getting through the crowds. Got whamped three times ..twice in an card game and once in "Shutes and ladders" game. Been watching movies tonight. We did soem floor excerises today also. Well, I'm going to go also...as morning comes early this weekend. All next week everyday we have an forecast of some kind of rain or showers...betcha it don't happen... but better that then the east wind. I heard someone say it was coming back mid-week also...blah... It's cold as it blows off the snow laden mountains to our east in winter. Snuggle in an warm blanket... seems to be the wordage this time of the year. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 21:08 on 8th January 2012 Yes, it's feeling that way....went by the tree recycle to say " hi" to everyone...they were de-wiring an 50 foot sway of greenery...had everyone out there unwiding the stuff. Beautiful day out there today but cold..as it should be in January...warming up later on though. As all social organizations have their problems...over on the other side of Portland some other boy scout troop was doing tree recycling also and some dude was passing out his form letters that the "scouts" discriminate against "gays"....some five years ago they were being sued by some scout was in the 50's supposedly molested by an scout leader...they can't win for the garbage people like to throw at them some days. We do everything we can to protect the kids from both sides of such issues. I at one time ran across an "gay"... as its not hard these days...and I found the person to be pretty one sided in their views of life in general. Finally got tired of it and left....was always making an big classic element of their "discrimination" and was told I couldn't believe in "God"..in reguard to my psychic impressions.. and it didn't settle with me very well. I was asked to respect their views about life...but they didn't have to my views. At least with this particular person. It was bascally an on-line chat. I never knew the person in person. I am not "gay"...nor an prostitute..just your average use to be "American gal"...if that makes any sense to you all. We do have an relative gal that leans to being gay back east...though I guess she left the family circle some time ago...have no idea where she's at. I think this might be an reflection of "American Indian" circumstances in the family though....yes, they enspouse female "warrior" types also. Very independent... and can be demanding also on others....as well as over protective. I let them go live how they want... if they do the same for me. Judge not goes well for both sides. Now..back to my diet and my health issues for the time being. |
