Well...Peggy already left Fellingham (Howard family estate) and this morning finds me in Totnes, Devon, England...but about to leave there also. I am doing an short paper on Rev. William Corbin or perhaps Corwin...is says an few of them changed their name after the Salen Witch Trials were over...he was sent to Port Royal, (Jamacia) when the great historic earthquake took place there...of which I happen to have an reporter of the days "drawing" of the minister standing on the undulating street as the quake is going on, buildings coming down and people being swallowed up by the sand.Johnanthan Corwin was one of the magestrates in the Salem Witch Trials. Though they have Rev. William Corbin was christanded at Totnes, Devon 5 Aug. 1636....after the quake the Reverand was taken to Charlestown, south Carolina though he died back in Boston and his will proved 10 Aug. 1704. From the time this guy arrived to the time of his death he's in the midst of "evil" doings from what I see so far. It's very unusual to find any pictures of people that were not terrbily wealthy...let alone one of someone during an earthquake.I am renewing my next year's due's to Jim Berkland, along with my annual letter of interest in geology and histoyr that might interest him.Like me..he had LOTS of files in his house on the past.... in earthquakes in his case. Then I went onto Jasper Lucas...whose ancestory leaves England and goes to Ireland....Jasper was named after hsi cousin, the son of  King Henry VII. But you know, gem stones are into the family quite an bit...Jasper is an idenity stone of the tribes of Isreal in ancient times. American Indians used it as an "Rubbing stone" and called it the "rain bringer"...as an amulet of the old days it was worn to protect you against unseen hazzards of the night as an stone to protect ou from people not good for you or youremotional nature. Jim Berland is also an state California Geologist also most all his life. Besides his syzygy earthquake theory...and speaker...and college teacher from time to time...here recently an radio talk host on "coast to coastam.com" out  of Los Angelas as an forwarner of possible earthquakes...he's been on recently talking about the "supermoon" effect the last couple of nights......Little does he know that I do my "lightwork" to lessen them and make them like child's play..... unless it be the "will of God"But I don't mind saying everyone was doing an pretty good job yesterday of "testing" my patient somewhat.. My little story here asks can there be an "reckoning" of God... besides "Natural" earth related quakes?Of course this Reverand goes into the area of "Vood doo" perhaps from Boston to Jamacia...and then rendering of evil. He must of been protected by someone to been an survivor.

Good day everyone. Looking forword to tonight's "Dancing with the Stars" though I have an headache coming on....you know from now until after my birthday I have an lot of astological influences supposedly....and I've never been screamed at like the last couple of weeks in an long time...thank God I'm next to deaf, so I can't hear these people for the most part. For the most part it's not about anyting I am doing particualrly as it is these people are in pain and under medical care...somewhat suffering in the process of healing also.  They should be healed an on thier way by the time I have my yearly Doc visit to the cardiologist and get screamed at again. Iat least got my heart meds re-ordered this morning. Nice day...one of the warmest so far this year. So better catch up with things going on so I can sit and watch tonight's dance routines. Have an good day everyone.

Hope you can read over all my mistakes...but was going to tell you...every year they come out with the reason behind those Salem, witch trials...the latest of which two books have been written concern this period as one of the remainder of the little ice age of the day going on.  It was believed back in those days that witch craft was responsible for the bad weather that destroyed thier crops...which is why they use to worship "Lord Bal" in ancient times...that fertilty of the soil was also linked with sexuality of his reign. Perhaps he was an "fisher King"?..dealt with earthly "abundance" also. One book recently written considers the superstition in weather vs people's thoughts in it..where they say the latest scourge of deaths by withcraft comes from Africa and the lack of rain....and the other one questions the Salem, Massachusetts area people in general back then. It says that the Rev. Parris, whose little daughter was one of them that got sick and was deathly ill that blamed one of the ladies and Tibuba's so called Barbadoes childhood with superstitions...as her factor for being sick..that Rev Parris left documented letters constantly asking his parrish to supply him with more firewood. Suggesting that his household was suffering persecution by the weather then. When you can't blame God for your misery...seems the devil comes next. Though I understand these days the "witches" are in Martha's Vineyard, they are wealthy, looking young and sexy and have no problems... but an life of luxury.

Just an extraction Peggy, but it felt like the root was coming from my big toe! Pleased to say that there is some relief this morning, but still very tender.

Have to come back to your posts later Shirley....hospital appointments to keep!

Dancing with the stars was an good show tonight....they are now once again beefing up security at the airports...they stopped an Al Queda man from Yemen ready to board an air plane with an undetectable bomb device that would of passed through the scanning machines today. It was planted on his body. Beware, or good job done!...which ever. Just thought you ought to know if they take more time here lately in getting everyone through security lines again.

Good evening all.

I always seem to have a problem uploading a different avatar.  I delete the old one first and then try to upload a new one, but it seems to take a couple of days to show sometimes.  Is this usual?? or am I doing something wrong?

Ron: Your extraction sounds nasty!

I had some problems trying to pull up an picture for my avatar way back when...maybe Ron should pick up out an generic avatar if we can't come up with one...I've seen other webmasters do that before.Just as long as we don't all show up as "bull dogs"...LOL.

Ron could post some of the drinks that the "Grouse Club" has been displaying.... as if we were all in an pub someplace "talking"....anyone have an picture of an glass of orange juice?...winks...we need our daily Vit C.  I'm slow this morning....and I'm not even dressed for the day yet and its noon here and time for lunch...who cares?...you know...lazy day! I'll make up for it tomarrow, when I go pick up sister and get her offically released from her Gall Bladder and stone removal operation...come Thursday...I'll pick her up to stay with me overnight tomarrow. I made my annual visit appointment to the cardiologist yesterday....hum...I know he'll scream at me for not losing  more weight most likely, it's been the avocation of most doctors with me all my life now...but gee whiz...I could do it easier if it was something "fun" to do. Anyone have an suggestion for something fun to do?.....Within reason that is. Summertime should be "fun" me thinks!  We all work hard enough as it is. I've been watching Resturant and Hotel  "mission impossible" on Tv here lately...where they come in an "pick the place up" because it's losing money. Sometimes these people overlook the simpliest things...but the number one thing...is making things FOR the customer...over themselves.... and what they think ought to be. Lot of it is simply updating also. These people don't have the know how to up date....without big bucks. I was so glad to see them thrown out an all white leather livingroom set in an Spa...why would anyone be out there sittting on furniture "wet"...you know. I could see the leather in the message room...but to me leather is an very "cold" kind of material. I don't care how popular it is and maybe it's not so bad in an library at times...on the wall...or as an desk chair maybe. Anyway...I'm picking up suggestions...but I still like innovative David Bromstead...he thinks "out of the box"...like of like Scott...I liked his design for an sidewalk excerise (Lap) pool also..going into the front of the house, with side solar... we developed on the comptuer. That was  an no grass entry way through an tall decorative fence. But the house was so tall if you were in it...you could look outside on an balcony and over the fence. We had just for me...an oriental sand garden...with flowers surrounding it...so I could go out and take my daily passions with an small rake developing my thoughts in patterns....for relaxation.  Then sit at an near by patio table surrounded with flowers...and late at night...do my lap pool. The house had big doors also...that could be opened up to this entryway. I LOVE designing houses. Whole back of the house was glass windows with an view....walk inside an you felt like you were in an different land or something. We sat there one afternoon discussing ideas we'd seen that we liked...for him I think it may of been an school project for his homework. Last I heard he was in California. he has an little girfriend down there he's known for many years. This house is not an big mansion type...though could be...I wanted it an private home...easy care type...maybe some 5,000 sq feet at most.I wanted private areas...and areas that made you feel like you had all the room in the world looking outside...but YOUR SPACE within the world. I heard an decorator say one time...we all need our own space...wonder what happened to Babara Shoemaker...last time I talked to her she was renovating her living area.. I should get back to my inside house painting I suppose...weather getting better. So sad to say....must get going for now....Have an good day everyone!
