Ron...So you think James may of went bullish in Spain by getting an few drinks in with the matador. Nice to get away now and then and you can bet England is going to be having plenty of people with the Olympics here soon.

"Dancing with the stars" last night was sad..it's getting down to the nitty gritty as to the performers...I think they said two shows left.

I was up and down all last night...so now I'm tired....we had airplanes(commericial) coming over the house last night so low, it sounded like they'd come through it if they dropped any lower.  News reported one missing with 40 people on it..from yesterday somewhere. Go pick up my sister later so she can stay tonight and we can get her official release from the Doctor tomarrow on her operation recently...so am washing bedding and preparing for that one...better get back to it...Have an good day everyone! Check in later on maybe.

Hi POEsters.

I hope all of you are well and having a good evening (or day depending where in the world you are.) I have just returned from having with neighbours up the road.

What a super meal and great company. They have overwhelmed me with their kindness by asking me to make Wednesday nights a standing arrangement for dinner.

Such nice people and so very kind.

Only 2 and a bit weeks 'til I leave for England. Yeehah, can't wait.

Mainly "wet"... Cathry...or whiskey... in Ron's neighborhood...just kidding. They were showing on  one of those "Disaster Preppers" on Tv and there's this guy teaching his young boys how to take bottles by the fifth...and make them into flaming projectiles if need be in defense...I thought...My God....how expenisve can an person get...as he fires off about 6 ot 7 bottles with cloth light end of it toward an fire pit. It would take an mightly expensive case of booze to defend yourself in that case. How far you think two little boys can throw, vs an rifle that can shoot 1/2 mile away. Hum.

Ok...she's released....14 days later tonight....I can maybe rest...it's been hospital......over night stays.......grocery shopping...cooking and house cleaning to the max....I'm tired you know.  I need some reprieve time myself.  I still got one birthday present to wrap up...the fishing pole...the grandson is done for his birthday this coming weekend. Checked on the sister in-law...she's got two weeks left of the radiation therapy. My brother was with her last night and she was quite happy...she needs to not dispute him so much though and he might not smoke so much. they still got issues and expenses to work out before they can ever be happy again if then....but it never hurts to work on things when you can. I just dropped her off some garden plants from my sister....and maybe later on I'll take her over some Pineapple mint to plant...fro summer time icy drinks on the patio. So time for me to kick back tonight...listen to "coast" whose talking about the "Crystal Skulls" tonight and do another round of bedding and maybe I can get to the other things that need taken care of coming up real soon....as I'm 14 days behind in some things. Talk to you all later on...have an good day...suppsoe to be sunny here and nearly up to 90 degrees...if it does...but painting weather is coming up for me. Every place I look...something needs painted. "Party On...dear ole England...this is an summer meant for you!

So Ron, you like the shirt then?

I shall bring it with me to England next fortnight.

Hope all is well with all of you and that me old mate James is enjoying Spain.

Hi CAthy, how are things in the hinterland of SA today? Getting cooler yet?

We've had summer weather right up until now. I have had to put on a sweater this evening for the first time.

I sure hope the weather settles by the 2nd of June because it will put a damper on the jubilee celebrations if its wet. (Pun intended.)

Did you all hear about the chap who thought he so good at at punning? He decided to come out with half a score of puns to see if he could raise a laugh but no pun intended.

Hi Syd.  Yep getting much cooler up here.  During the day it's been quite lovely Autumn sunshine but the evenings are quite cool.  Haven't got the heaters out yet though, but we are wearing jerseys!  Only two weeks to go til you get to England - lucky you and I hope the weather will be really kind to you.

I went to a wedding at the end of June one year - in Brighton - and I was soooo cold I had two polo necked jerseys and a winter trouser suit on (never have worn the outfit I bought specially for the wedding!) - I felt such a fool as the other ladies were in chiffon outfits.  But the wind was cold, it was overcast and came on to rain later!! We are much to used to the warmth!!

Well hi everyone, hope you have a great Friday and a super weekend!Smile
